If they allow foreign bikes in Ducati will make a bagger just so they can dominate another series 😆
They can’t allow foreign bikes in unless they’re highly restricted and the big twins are allowed to be wide open.
There’s already sport touring bikes that use sportbike engines and are surprisingly competent track bikes. Even something like a stock 1250GS with sticky tires can give sportbikes a hard time.
It'll be funny when Honda enters the ring (Goldwing) and destroys the entire series.
This is all last season stuff…
I would love to see these baggers on the track with 600s and 1000s to see how they compare.
What could be more american than bagger racing? It's like Nascar to the rest of the racing world. Started as Racing barges in comparison to what was considered a race car. and making them fast. Especially with harley and indians heritage in racing. I mean, ya, it's polaris.. indian has died multiple times in multiple decades. But!... it's the perfect demographic to sell too. Thier gonna be into it! And thier gonna buy a bunch of stuff they dont need. Also a bunch of stuff they do, lol. Unlike a sportsbike. ... were you actually have to be a great rider to push its limits. They are so comfortable and confidence inspiring that a lot of guys might like to think they are pushing the limits of stock bikes, and need more..but its More so, their limits in reality.. and a lot also know they dont NEED anything more. Harleys, lol. .. your average decent to good rider can find the limits of a harley fairly quick. Or the limits of their skill and nerve, lol. Especially old dynas and sloptails, lol. This demographics actually needs these aftermarket goods. And while they have bin around way before King of the baggers... it will deffinetly sell more to those guys. As well as the ego dudes that just bought to buy it. Like cvo's lol. I dont think anyone has ever pegged a cvo owner as frugal.
