    The fact that any road glide owner could turn their bike into something close to this is so badass. Factory based racing is fun to watch but incredible to think that some of the engineering that went into this bike is shared among the factory bikes its based on.
    I hope KOTB is around for a while, such a great concept!

    I’ve had a “performance bagger” since 2011. Taller custom suspension, Lyndell brakes, BST wheels, Baker 7spd trans, built H-D 120r motor, adjustable handlebars made of billet aluminum, extended swingarm, etc. Not a full race bike like this but mine is 100 lbs lighter than stock. With most of the weight loss in the form of rotating mass so it feels even lighter at speed. Great to see people take these road toads and make them handle. T-Man Performance built 124R done in 2011. 135hp / 145tq to the wheels.

    Right on! The King of the Baggers Race series is going to change Bagger motorcycles forever.
    This genre of motorcycle, “Baggers”, was ripe for improvement IMO. Younger riders don’t want “Granddad’s motorcycle”. Older veteran motorcyclists are moving to lighter bikes; they can’t muscle around an 850lb motorcycle like they could when they were 30yo. Lighter, faster, better handling, more durable Baggers helps the entire motorcycle industry.
    Racing improves the technology, durability and performance of street motorcycles. So it will be with Baggers. King of the Baggers Race series is the best thing to happen to Harley Davidson and Indian since they started up the rivalry again when Polaris bought Indian!
    Just the improvement in tire technology from Racing Baggers will be a game changer for heavy motorcycles. This is the tip of the iceberg with the technology showing up on race ready Baggers.
    The King of the Baggers Racing is GOOD too! The riders are dicing it up; riding to WIN! It’s very entertaining.

    If I had a man-crush, it would be Kyle. Anyway, I just put a set of bags on the WG and windscreen is next. I plan on putting some miles on it this year with many moderate length trips. It has a 95 kit with 10.5:1, 570 cams and ported and polished heads and she really pulls but mileage is not stellar unless you baby it 😴. There is a local shop that has a Dynojet and I may go see what I'm actually working with. I know the 2-1 pipes will help me get more power but I love the look of my "stock" 88 with classic slip ons. So I'd say I have a sort of performance bagger, just not quite to that level.

    Great video. I would rather convert a Super Duke to a performance bagger. You start out with huge lean angles with 180 horsepower and 104 ft pounds torque from factory. Less torque needed on 500 pound bike. Super Duke, I believe, has the largest diameter pistons(4.25 inches) of any mass produced motorcycle. Even with the inertia mass of those pistons able to rev 10,000 rpm. The bike comes with a warranty!

  • @lordbentley730
    @lordbentley730 Před rokem

    Racing bikes like motogp are taller for more reason one of them is more levrage taking a corner and I think you also get more room fore more lean angle and more traction because you can hang of more in a higher lean angle = all this gets you higher cornering speed. Am I right?

    Wow they want a lot to watch the live stream of the king of the baggers. A season pass is $109.99, Its cheaper to pay F1 to watch their entire season and all the support series for 20 plus races

    The weight is insane like 100kg + more then motogp. Thats the fundamental in bagger racing. Racing something that in peoples mindes shouldn't be possible. Would like to se this against a stock super sportbike 😀 I think this will win becaus the modern sportsbikes are over hyped they have crazy numbers but they don't show on track old sportsbikes with less hp are still faster.

    That's cool. I really just wish they had to roll them off the showroom floor and race. Maybe change the air pressure in the tires and that's it. Go race. But will never happen because money talks.

    Suppose this the testing ground of future bagger. I gather* (*I am not involved with Anti Drug MADD or RADD) that in like 2024-25 Harley is switching over, bagger engines like the 1275

    Props to Kyle, excellent race even with an arm on the mend.
    Why is the 131 allowed, currently not a stock engine. The rules limit air cooled to 131ci and water cooled to 112ci.

    He never really answered the question about why the bike runs a chain instead of a belt. I believe it's because chains are more efficient in transmitting power.
