Trains at York - 20th May 2023

Lots of action at York Station on 20th May 2023. The weather was absolutely perfect for a day of trainspotting on this day, so it mafr sense to have a full day at the station.
We see plenty of appearances from Grand Central, LNER, Northern, CrossCountry, and a few TPE services, mainly 185s and Nova 3s heading to Scarborough and back. A fair few LUMO services also passed through during my time here.
Other notable appearances include a Network Rail track unit, and we also see an LNER intercity 225 set…TWICE! We see 91109 ‘Sir Bobby Robson’ depart for the 12:02 service to london Kings Cross, and later in the evening, she decides to make a return, forming the 18:02 service back to London Kings Cross.
We also see the newly painted LNER Azuma which has been named ‘Century’ as well as the appearance of a CrossCountry HST service with 43184 at the front, in her original intercity 125 colours. I captured a nice shot of her departing, with the intercity 225 stabled next to her.
This is probably one of my best ‘Trains at York’ videos I have made.
