I wish ford would of put people in order that they placed reserves. I put mine in September 2021. Still waiting for it to be delivered. It should be here soon but I hear stories of people ordering them just last year 2022 and got theirs.
They’re building an Xlt w/ luxury package for me right now, if anything they appear to be ahead of schedule ( had build date of 1/23 for order placed 9/20/2022 ).
I ordered 2023 Maverick XLT AWD Alto Blue hitch spare Sept 18 and just got a build date of Feb 20. This was not a carry over from 2022 so I was surprised a got a build date so soon.
I have been amazed at how quick they are getting these 2023's out. I ordered my XLT FX4 on the day the banks opened up, and it got built on Dec 1st and shipped on Dec 4th, and it arrived at my dealership on Dec 21st. Only thing I added to mine besides the FX4 package was a drop in bed liner. I was really surprised how quickly it showed up because I thought they would be prioritizing the 2022 rollovers first. I figured I would have to wait like 6 months for mine to arrive.
Awesome! That’s still the best one I’ve had. Just to let you know the rear tweeters are tied into the rear speakers, I’m sure you’ll have no issue replacing them, but nonetheless be cautious of the wires in the rear panels.
Hey Blake! I finally got a Maverick Hybrid after a super long wait. Thanks for all the info during my journey of extreme patience... I saw this video not long before I took delivery and made me worried that the hybrid would be too slow for me after coming from a Civic Si that is decently quick. Thankfully, thing moves great. So effortlessly in NJ sub-urban driving (sooo much traffic, and stop and go) and obviously the mpg is amazing as I'm averaging ~42. I never knew how much I would love getting into a car and pulling away so smooth and quietly without having to start an engine. PS I suggest (many many options) which complements the XLT interior amazingly and can really upgrade the look from toy-like to just plain sick.
The XLT isn't the base model. The XL is. FYI. I would recommend that you get the truck ceramic coated ASAP because the clear coat on these trucks SUCKS...Nice truck and great idea on ordering the lower option truck. You could still flip it and make 5K. Also, did you have to pay a market adjustment to the dealership for ordering once it arrived?
Thanks for this video. Two questions... Do the floor mats come with it? What are the adjustments of the manual driver's seat (any height adjustment and/or lumbar)?
Just got my build date last Friday. XLT w/luxury pkg. That's about all I have on mine, not even an extra cost color. I debated changing once or twice to the Alto Blue you had, but couldn't bring myself to paying extra for a different color. Though I will regret not upgrading to get the same wheels and the sunroof you had on yours.
I have a build date of 3/20/2023 for my order placed on 9/16/2022. Ecoboost Lariat with lux, spray in, CP 360. I thought long and hard about Chili pepper red or Alto blue. Alto blue seems to suit the Lariat better I think. The main reason I went with the Lariat is because it already has many of the mods people are doing on XL's and XLT's. LED's, wireless charging and the B&O sound system was huge for me. I did not want to tear the interior apart to upgrade the weak standard system. I will put the tailgate letters on, the gate and hood struts and the " lightening" LED light strip over the grille. Also upgrading to RWL BF Goodrich AT tires. The one inch leveling kit for the front I am considering. Leaning towards doing it. This is what sets the Maverick apart. Whatever trim you buy you can pretty much make the truck the way you want it.
Hot pepper red cost more because it’s a multi step process. It is also the least produced color. Our Hot Pepper Red XLT Hybrid Lux Copilot 360 was ordered on 15Sep2021. It was shipped on the 13th of January 2023 and is now on a rail car in the USA. I refused to budge on any change. We ended up with a bed liner delete.
Good to hear! I ordered a XLT hybrid on Oct. 11, 2021 and am STILL waiting on a build date. They have tried many times to get me to drop options and to change it to an eco-boost but I have held tight to what I want. I’ll get it one day! 😆
I have the fwd hybrid and waiting for the awd hybrid...just for taking off in the snow and pulling the boat out of the water. Or maybe another company will make something like the maverick hybrid in awd.
Thanks, it is beautiful! I have one ordered in the Atlas Blue. Mine will be same trim as yours but AWD and tow Pkg. Enjoy my friend. BTW, where are you located. I’m in OKC.
I mean Ford is normally petty good about having free colors like Red and blue to go with the boring common grey and black... But Yeah I have rapid red a premium color on my 2020 Mustang and it looks so good.
I appreciate your videos. Ordered my XL hybrid, no options last year. Never got it. Ordered the same spec again when the order bank opened on the 3rd day. All I get from Ford is an email but no build date. The dealer on the 2nd order is different and took a 500$ non refundable deposit. I’m getting ready to change my order to an XL with ecoboost and no options but I have read and seen on CZcams that it won’t make a difference because they won’t make nearly as many XLs as were ordered. My question is, what should I do? Change my order or just wait? Thanks
The BAP deletes the orange interior. While I don't disagree it is pricey, it does help address a lot. Although I wish they also darkened the navy hard plastics too.
I've read that the 2023 model year, for the base model and xlt models....the plastic material on the steering wheel has a different (better)feel than the 2022 model year. Can you see/feel any difference ?
I do not notice a different feel for the plastic material, but I hate it. It makes your hands sweat, at least for me. I also noticed for the 2023 the leather was new, I also didn’t care for it vs the 22. The 23 leather feels like a stitched plastic.
@@BlakesCars2 Thanks. I have two Mavericks. One a hybrid built March 2022 which still has the temp display on the hvac knob....which I prefer. I also have a EcoBoost, AWD, 4KTow, FX4 built November 2022. This more currently built one deletes that temp shown on knob, and also states on it's delivery label...'4Glte wi-fi hotspot removal -$20.' So no hot spot on my second order. I note that your red one does seem to not state it's been deleted. I guess it's the luck of the draw...when a truck was produced. (My second truck was built as a 2022, and I think that it was the final week of 2022 production....and ordered way back in January 26th, 2022.)
@@meathead585it’s crazy how many little things ford is changing on the truck, it’s like they just keep taking things away and making it cheaper. I’m not particularly a fan of what they’re doing, but I guess it’s a mean to and end- especially in this current world.
Probably not, I’m selling this one to a friend in a few months. I have another XL on the way and will more than likely be keeping that one to mod for the future
I ordered in January of 2022 and still nothing … mine is an XLT 2L AWD and still no car and you get yours in 3 months. I had no special things in it just a basic activity
Received another Ford downdate, " expect a 45 day delay on your build date". Yeah, delay delay delay. Tomorrow, tomorrow I will get a real build date tomorrow. Ford, built late.
A beautiful truck for the price! You could have four of these for the price of one Platinum F150!
This dude collecting Mavericks like Pokemon
“If you can even get your hands on one” he says as he reviews Maverick #5

Still been waiting for mine. 13 months so far.
@@Deftallica9 that's the flex

He mis-spoke. It’s an XLT trim with just the options he mentioned.
It took 18 months to get my maverick hybrid - Lariat

That's lucky! I ordered mine the same week the order banks opened in September. Also an XLT FX4 package. Still no word on production for mine.
I make Maverick content as well. Got my 23 Hybrid XL recently. Congratulations on the truck.
I'm still rocking your first one. The one I ordered 12/14/21 still hasn't been built. Getting ready to do a sub and rear speaker install.

I like your first Maverick FX4 with the Area 51 color. I ordered the same and should be arriving at the end of February
An XLT is not a base model, but the mid grade trim level. The base model is the XL.
If you actually watched the video, you would understand what I meant by that. It’s a base XLT, meaning non luxury package.

Is there a way to silence backup horn/beeper when backing and engine sounds on hybrid version
Yeah but that’s also highly illegal. That’s a federal safety feature that shouldn’t be tampered with.
