I’ve done this lineup twice and both times I went 15, 18, 12. For the price the 15 is a beauty.

This style of video is just about my favorite! Honest discussion, just about the flavour experience. As it should be. Not price, age, or anything else. Of course when we go to buy, price has to be considered, but start just considering the full experience. Thank you so much! Cheers!

So in PA right now you can get a 3-pak of 50mls on closeout for 8.99 and a 3-pak of 200mls for 24.99! So I was doing a 15/18 comparison tonight and found this. I didn't include the 12 in my tasting but I was surprised how much I agreed with your comments, in general.

Nice video! Have actually never tried Glenfiddich (since I started to love whisky at least). In Sweden these are priced really nicely! The 12 is equivilent to $38, the 15 to $48 and the 18 to $81.50. Based on your views I feel the 15 year old seems like a steal here!!

Near me the 12 is $27 not $50 the 15 is $48 not $70 and the regular 18 is $77 these are Total Wine prices so they can be lower than small stores. Have not had these yet except the 12 so may have to try especially for the price. Cheers.

Nice video guys, love the comparison. I have to disagree on the 12. I find it a bit rough but not in a good way. I recently attended a whisky festival where I voiced my concerns to the Glenfiddich rep. She had me try some of the new expressions which really did not sway me at all. I now wish I'd tried the 15 and 18 after watching this. Glenfiddich definitely has a taste profile from what I've tasted which I'm not the biggest fan of. Think I'll try and pick up an 18 in a deal here in Scotland.

Yeah I am new to whisky since I decided to cut Coke out of my drinks and must say I am enjoying the journey. Started with Johnny Green label then had a go at Monkey Shoulder since I had heard good things about it then I went on to a bottle of Cardhu 12yr which I just finished which left me at the Store trying to decide whether it was going to be Glenfiddich 12yr or 15yr, I went with the 12yr thinking if I like that then I would do 15 and maybe 18 later. Must say I am thoroughly enjoying it and after your review I will be taking a bottle of the 15yr after all as soon as this one is finished which won't be long.

Three staples for any bar. I'm out of the 18 right now but will remedy that soon enough. Luckily the 15yo is always on sale in my state for about $45 and I can catch the 12yo for $32 sometimes. The 18yo runs $110-$115. All worthy and I agree the order of preference can change on any given day depending on mood.

All 3 are really good. First time I tried all 3 from a sampler pack at the same time I went 15,18,12. The 18 was the smoothest but the 15 had a more flavor and better flavor. A couple of other times I felt the 18 was as good as the 15 but the 15 is a better value. I recently bought the 15 and a while before that picked up a bottle of 14 and they have been added to the rotation.

The 15 definitely is better in taste. I'd say get both. start the night with 1-2 15, then finish a night off with the 12 the rest of the way. My 2 cents. Always enjoy your guys shows. Your results square with my own impressions of Glenfiddich 12, 15, and 18. All are good, and the 18 shines with a bit of water.
