Winter Exterior Detail || Matte Black OBS Ford F150

In today's video we are doing a maintenance wash to knock off the dust that has accumulated on our very own 1992 Ford F150. This truck was repainted a few years ago with a single stage matte black paint and is a little finicky to maintain. With a matte black paint job, you need to ensure you are using products that do not add any gloss or shine as this will cause unwanted streaking. In today's video we use Koch Chemie's GSF and FSE as well as Brake Buster by P&S. Hope you all enjoy!

Legend has it he’s still wiping down that door panel. 😄 Great vid man! I’ve never seen someone use so much PERL on one tire before. Was FSE hard to apply on the matte paint?

Haha those matte black trucks don’t stay clean for more than a day lol. But yeah it’s super diluted and I like to drench the tire in it so it fills in all the sidewall of these mud tires. Less work on my end honestly

And also no it wasn’t difficult using the FSE. Didn’t leave any streaks and the towel was good in soaking up the rest of the unused product

Some days I wish it was lol, but no it’s actually a matte paint. It’s a devil to keep clean, I definitely don’t recommend ever owning one unless it’s garaged all the time
