I downloaded last night and me and a buddy listened to this album driving job to job, it did not hit me right away and that's ok. I find the music that takes a second to absorb lasts the longest with me. Put it on my home stereo and let er rip on repeat, what a fantastic album this is. I have been 18 years with this band, and they just keep it fresh.
This is slowly creeping ahead of "Birds" as the best for me off the album. Superb songwriting, unique intro and an absolutely flawless chorus that just soars and never lets go. Chills all over.
Absolutely amazing song and album by Katatonia!!! Purchased it a few weeks ago and I love it. For me, it should be a classic album in some years. PS: Austerity, Atrium, Colossal Shade, Impermanence, and others are magnificent as well.
This track is majestic. Cathartic , soaring and emotional. The entire album is a masterwork.
