Gosh, I can´t wait to see them again live here in Berlin on January 25th. I just love the drive this song has, it does remind me of, but by far doesn´t sound similar to Passer or Behind the Blood. I dunno, I don´t have the right words for this, due to my lack of english vocabulary. It is the essence, the feel, the vibe... something like that, that puts these 3 songs into a similarity to my ears somehow. Leathan for example, or The Winter of our Passing, to me would have a more melancholy vibe, despite them being fast pieces also, than said 3 songs ( just the music, the lyrics are a whole different story with katatonia, don´t they?) Thanks again for your reaction, I hadn´t listened to Birds by myself before, so I actually shared this precious moment of a 1st time listening with you!
I had a chance to see them for the first time in Chicago like a month ago but had to miss it! Hopinmg they come back around in the summer. Have fun! I hear the Behind the Blood vibes for sure. I have a reaction for each song on the album. So when the album drops there will be many more. The new album is so good.

Ohhh hell no....not for me, that's for sure. Lacquer is one hell of a song but doesn't beat any of the 3 singles from "Sky".
