I made this about 60 years ago for my children. It was very economical. I printed your recipe and will ask my daughter to make it. I’m 91 and live with her, she does make whatever I ask for. ❤.

My Mom and Grandma and myself would make this when we were low on money. Its delicious! There were 11 kids in my Grandmother's house and my Mom had 6 including me. I had 2 but wanted 3. My husband was a no go on that. God bless you.
This is just how my mom made it when I was a kid. It has always been one of my most favorite meals.

My grandmother used to make this a lot when I was a kid for my grandfather, great uncle and I. I never got her recipe before she passed away, but I definitely want to make this for my great uncle because goulash is one of his favorite foods. I don’t think he’s had goulash in years since before my grandmother passed and I think he’d enjoy it for sure.
Mom used to make this Goulash often growing up and we all loved it.

To prevent tears when cutting onions, chill them 15-30 minutes before cutting. It has simple, easy and has saved me. It really works.

Never seen/heard/tried goulash in my life, but very fascinating to learn how it's made in American style.
This is what we call meat sause, not Goulash. In restaurants it is called spaghetti bolognese.
I'm excited to enjoy this new American entertainment tomorrow. American is my first nationality and this pasta dish tastes so good.🍝😋 I can also eat that in Valentine's day. 💝I'm excited for Valentine's day since that's my favorite holiday! I finally did this and let me tell you it's amazing. We loved it. Even my 7 month infant loved it.
I didnt have any kind of broth so I used water and added a little chicken bouillon. Its still so good...

My mother used to make this when I was a kid. She used her canned tomatoes and it was more liquidy. Brings back great memories!

Being Australian, I'd never heard of American Goulash, but I'm DEFINITELY trying this, because this is something I'd really enjoy. I love having noodles through tomatoey, meaty, cheesy dishes. That ticked every box for me!

great idea ! no need for chunks of beef and no hungarian paprika and cooks fast. My Mom made this she called it American Chop Suey great for a fast lunch.
Then its not goulash
There are 7 types of goulash in the hungarian country.
This is the American style.
But America isn't in Hungary, typical USA on the rob again, goulash is hungarian....FULL STOP
@chrislyons6541 Debrecen, Budapest, Miskolc and Szeged where I come from are all made different. If you tasted all from each city would say this is not goulash.
