🍴HOMEMADE BEEF STROGANOFF INGREDIENTS:
1 lb top sirloin steak
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 lb brown mushrooms, thickly sliced
1 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup beef broth
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup sour cream
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp dijon mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Green onion to garnish
8-12 oz Egg noodles, to serve

@@steveludwig4200 what a silly thing to reply. you run the risk getting sick of *any* dish if you have it too often in too short of a timespan. maybe she first made it when the video was uploaded and has made it every nine months since then.
This has become my favorite Stroganoff recipe. I used to enjoy a cream of mushroom soup recipe with tarragon and wine, but there is just something about this one that elevates it. Super savory and comforting. I love using mashed potatoes because the sauce melds perfectly with them.
What elevates it is that this recipe has great ingredients and is an actual Stroganoff recipe. Mushroom soup and tarragon...not really. You have moved up a notch. Seriously...the real deal is always better than the quick fix.
I made this last night Natasha, I didn't change a thing and it was the best Stroganoff I've ever made! So this recipe will replace my other Stroganoff recipes in my folder, thank you!

So glad I happened to be cooking beef stroganoff tonight and went on CZcams just for a little inspiration. I was so impressed by your video I had to subscribe.
I used to eat the Stouffer's frozen version all the time in high school; now I can make it better at home! 👍
Since the flavors are all in the pan, I would put the Pasta directly in the pan to make it taste even better.
Obviously the Pasta must be removed from the pot 1 minute or 2 before the end of cooking, so that they remain Al Dente.
PS: Of course, the amount of sauce in the pan should be in proportion to the amount of pasta. If it turns out to be too much sauce, set a little aside.

I have been making beef stroganof for years and it's one of my signature dishes. This recipe blew away my own that I had learned from a professional chef. I did add two secret ingredients: 1 tablespoon of brandy when cooking the onions and mushrooms and 1/4 cup of finely chopped semi spicy pickles. The pickles will melt in the sauce and gives the dish a kick that no one can put their finger on. Trust me pickles make a difference. Also I accidentally added more Dijon mustard than was asked for and it made it even better. Thank you so much for this incredible recipe!

I just made this. It is amazing. I did change a couple things. I used pre-cooked turkey breast that I bought from Costco. I sliced it real thin and I added it at the end and heated it up. I used 1 cup of vegetable broth instead of the beef broth. This is a fantastic recipe. The only reason I changed the ingredients is because it’s what I had on hand. Easy and fantastic recipe!

Made this tonight, turned out great! I made a few substitutions, I was out of some things. I used beef meatballs, no mushrooms, added green peppers, used Top the Tater for the sour cream and used stone ground mustard.
Parmesan cheese to top it off.

Great vid. One trick I use often, lifted from Chinese cooking, is to velvet meats with a bit of soy sauce and corn starch. It gives great browning and adds thickening to sauces later on. Stroganoff is one of my favs and the soy sauce helps that beefy flavor.
