This topic is about Melchizedek and the person who met Abraham in the Old Testament. Here are a few important points to remember:

Later on, people started making sacrifices, and the first ones to do this were Abel and then Noah, according to the Bible. In another part of history, during the second world, Melchizedek came and was both a Priest and a King.
Eventually, the job of being a priest was given to Aaron and his sons/generation. However this Aaronic priesthood ended when the Jewish era finished. Moses' uncle was named Jethro, and his title was Raguel.
The last person to receive the role of priesthood was Jesus Christ not according to Aaron but according to Melchizedek, which made him both a King and a Priest. This same role will also be given to The Church - Body of Christ.

Hi, brother thanku for giving us the insight about Melchidzedek with the connecting verses from the blible both from OT and NT. 2Timothy 3:16 St. Paul writes to Timothy, that every scripture is given by inspiration of God, a profitable doctrine. Referal scriptures there are no issues, but every scriptures when we see in SPIRIT there will more clarity, and will not miss the mark His origin and His origin is not from Joseph and virgin Mary but much before that . Melchizedek in OT and NT refers to Lord Jesus Christ only, if we take a close look at scripture concerning His birth to virgin Mary this aspect can be clearly seen. ஆதியாகமம் 18:1ல் - கர்த்தர் மீண்டும் தோன்றினார்.
இங்கே மீண்டும் சொல்கிறது, அப்படியென்றால் ஆதியாகமம் 18ல் வரும் இவர் இதற்கு முன் வந்திருக்க வேண்டும், இல்லையா?
அப்படியென்றால் அவர் எங்கே வந்தார்? அவர் ஆதியாகமம் 17 ஆம் அதிகாரத்தில் வந்து அதன் பெயர் எல்-ஷதாய் என்று கூறுகிறார், பின்னர் அவர் அத்தியாயம் 18 இல் தோன்றுகிறார்
எல்-ஷதாய் என்று யாரை அழைக்கலாம்?
இத்தகைய பெயர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவின் வாய் வழியாக மட்டுமே கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டன.
எனவே 18 ஆம் அத்தியாயத்தில் உள்ள 3 பேரில் கிறிஸ்து ஒருவர் என்பது தெளிவாகிறது. இல்லாவிட்டால் இயேசு கூறியிருக்க மாட்டார்.
ஜான் 8:56 - உங்கள் தந்தை ஆபிரகாம் என் நாளைக் கண்டு மகிழ்ந்தார், அவர் அதைக் கண்டு மகிழ்ந்தார்.
கேள்வி 3a - அப்படியானால், இயேசு ஏன் மனித வடிவில் மற்றவர்களுக்கு வரவில்லை, அவர் டேனியலுக்கு கனவில் வந்தார், உடல் ரீதியாக அல்ல
பதில்: டேனியல் 3:25ல், இயேசு மனித வடிவில் தோன்றுகிறார்
டேனியல் 3:25 - அதற்கு அவன்: இதோ, நாலுபேர் விடுதலையாய் அக்கினியின் நடுவிலே உலாவுகிறதைக் காண்கிறேன்; அவர்களுக்கு ஒரு சேதமுமில்லை; நாலாம் ஆளின் சாயல் தேவபுத்திரனுக்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது என்றான்
அவர் பூவுலகில் தோன்றியதோடு மட்டுமல்லாமல், பரலோக உடலிலும் தோன்றினார்
1. கிறிஸ்து 40 வருடங்கள் வனாந்தரத்தில் காணப்படாத பரலோக உடலில் இருந்தார் - 1 கொரிந்தியர் 10:9 - 1 கொரிந்தியர் 10:4
கேள்வி 3b: அவர் எப்படி ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் வித்தியாசமாகத் தோன்ற முடியும்
பதில்: இயேசு உயிர்த்தெழுந்த பிறகு புதிய ஏற்பாட்டிலும் இதைச் செய்கிறார் (குறிப்பு: இயேசு அதே மாம்ச உடலில் எழுப்பவில்லை) 1 பேதுரு 3:18
இங்கே சில உதாரணங்கள் உள்ளன
1. மரியாளுக்கு - தோட்டக்காரனாக இயேசு தோன்றினார் - யோவான் 20:15
2. அந்நியன் குறிப்பு: அவர்களில் ஒருவர் பீட்டர் எம்மாவுஸ் செல்லும் வழியில் இருந்தார் - அவர்களுக்கு இயேசு ஒரு அந்நியராகத் தோன்றினார் (லூக்கா 24:13...)
3. தோமஸுக்கு - இயேசு காயப்பட்டு, குத்தப்பட்ட உடலில் தோன்றினார் - யோவான் 20:27
பாருங்கள், பூமியில் இயேசு எப்படி வெவ்வேறு உருவங்களில் தோன்றினார்.
எனவே ஆம், இயேசு பழைய ஏற்பாட்டில் சிலருக்கு பூமிக்குரிய உடலிலும் சிலருக்கு பரலோக உடலிலும் தோன்றினார்.

I'm sorry brother.. according to the word, shem is definitely having a genealogy.. that itself rules him out of the equation of who might have appeared as melchizedak... You have measured Jesus with strong measures and took Him out of the equation and considered shem lightly and pulled him in... Jesus was there in the beginning of the world itself... That is what bible tells us... The word was with God and through the word, the world was created... Bible itself is a definite record.. no need to search outside to prove our point... God can send jesus also to establish a covenant... It doesn't mean its a double act instead He considers this as an important covenant-making.. thats why chances are there to send manifestation of the son to meet Abraham... I'm not telling it has to be Jesus definitely here... But I can vouch that it's not shem for sure as he's getting ruled off due to genealogy...

As we understand, the designation of Melchizedek is a title rather than an individual's name. During the second epoch, a single individual was chosen by God who did not possess a documented genealogy at the time of Abraham. This description aligns remarkably well with Shem, particularly due to his origins in the first epoch. Subsequently, it was only at a later point that Moses recorded Shem's genealogy in the Bible, yet Paul referred to him as an individual without an ancestral lineage. This reference was directed toward the Hebrews, who were well aware that Shem's genealogical information was exclusively present in the Torah. Paul drew attention to this fact that Shem’s genealogy was not present elsewhere and compares the same to Christ as the Genealogy of Christ (i.e - Christ being the Son of God) is not present elsewhere except the bible.
Interestingly, even preceding Shem was Adam, who assumed the roles of both Priest and King in the garden of Eden (this information is expounded upon in the discourse titled "Royal Priest of Eden"). It's worth noting that Adam also lacked a human genealogy and fulfilled the positions of priest and king. Subsequently, in the second epoch, Shem was chosen, primarily because his genealogy was absent in that era, having originated from the first epoch.

Also Christ came as a High Priest under Melchizedek's order only at his baptism, hence he couldn't have already pre-existed as Melchizedek. Hence a person has to have already existed during AB' period and the only qualified person was Shem. Please let us know if there was anyone else from the lineage of Adam who could have been a priest and ruler during AB's time period.

Likewise this can also be pre-planned priesthood.. This person shd be someone who elevates a person who is above him.. possibly the son of God elevating Father and symbolically establishing a covenant with the friend of God

Melzhisedez is as Like as son of God. Not son of God. Christ has come to this world in the ORDER of Melzhisedek. There fore Melzhisedek is in the GOD'S family. He is not Father , not Son of God. Therefore it is gracious Revelation that Melzhisedek is HOly Sprit Himself.
