In my opinion, i do love Sonny’s voiceover more because it’s sounded more enthusiastic. and plus, we all love sonny, that’s why we follow this channel aren’t we 🫣🤭🤭
Thank you for pointing it out. I love to listen reviews from his voice... Sooo authentic and from his heart.
Who doesn’t love bill? Bills great!
agree
You took the words out of my mouth! This was wonderful instead of merely interesting. Sonny makes all the difference. Enthusiasm and intense interest.
Ur 💯 right!
When I first saw Sonny's channel (maybe 6 years ago) I didn't like it as much as the other food vloggers...Wiens, Mike Chen and Food Ranger.
Maybe it was the editing or maybe it was that they had already established a video personality...with the 'WOW's and the bits of humour...i don't know.
But as time as gone by...and it's been like this for over a year...while those other guys have become tired and repetitive, Mikey has gone from strength to strength!
Not only is the editing of his videos top notch...as a personality he has become far far better than the others. He really understands food from a taste perspective - and that makes his commentary real in each video.
I honestly think that Wiens has no idea about food at all...and Mike Chen just seems to go through the motions and say the same thing these days - no matter what he eats! I'll admit that Food Ranger seems to know more about food than the others but his personality is nowhere near Sonny's.
I'm not being paid for these comments btw!!!
But honestly though...Sonny has done an amazing job and it's been a real pleasure to see his evolution over the past years! ❤
Nothing against the other voice over artists but Sonny is on another level and just kills it! His enthusiasm and personality you can hear through the narration.
Yes his advantrous spirit is contagious

Sonny’s voice over is so perfect for these Indian videos, I’m enjoying it so much more now
Kolkata is one of the most affordable cities, and the street food variety is almost unparalleled.
I agree 👍
True, those who have lived outside would definitely understand the pain. We get kochuri cholar dal at local stalls for 20 bucks
@@ishitadasgupta9048 two sondesh for 100 rupees in Mumbai during Durga Pujo 👌🏽
except for humidity and heat...this city is ok
@@physics77guyYup being Bengali...I agree
Humidity is very high 😢
Come in winters or spring or autum in Kolkata...
Calcutta street food in itself is by far the most cosmopolitan food in India's already cosmopolitan food scene. A wonderful blend of Bengali (the predominant taste), Chinese, Nepali/Tibetan, Armenian, English, Mughlai and various Indian influences, the food is extremely diverse and innovative.
The Chinese influence is quite strong in Calcutta, probably because it has not one, but TWO Chinatowns. Also, the Chinese community here has assimilated with the local Bengali population to create the gem that we refer to as 'Indo-Chinese'.
But not pan India food. So sad
@@Kathakathan11 There are many pan-Indian food options too (like Malayali, Goan, Tamil, Maharashtrian, North Indian etc). But I'm talking about 'fusion' between Indian and non-Indian cuisines. For example, 'Dolma' is a very popular dish that is common in Bengali households. It arrived with the Armenians, who in turn learned it from the Turks. Bengali households use pointed gourd (potol) and a fish filling to make dolma instead of the original Armenian/Turkish variant where they don't use pointed gourd (they use large peppers like Capsicum) and minced meat (usually lamb or beef).
Dosa and idlis too are fabulous in Bengal
I heard that sukto is Danish.
@@abhishekghosh4384 I knew that it had Portuguese origins. But I might be mistaken. Do you know anything else about this Danish origin?
I'm here for Sonny's voiceovers! There's no point in using the Best Ever Food Review Show branding without Sonny 😄
Why? Why can't they branch out without Sonny's voice for videos like this? It's not like he's IN India for these videos after all. The community didn't give that lady who did the original voice over any chance whatsoever, which is weird.
@@LordLOC Because Best Ever Food Review Show is Sonny's brand. People come here for his style, his humor. If Sonny isn't part of the production, they may as well just call it something else
@@revinaque1342 So, again, why can't they branch out? If they are trying to build their brand, why does Sonny have to be the face of everything they do? That's going to be a problem when they have 3, 4, 5 channels going, or just post more and more videos.
@@LordLOC Why don't they build their own brand, then?
@@revinaque1342 If it's going to be part of their brand, why should they do that?
Just feels right with Sonny's voice haha I dont think a host in shot is needed, I could watch this all day
Finally, Sonny did what he should have done earlier, no offense to the lady who was voicing the videos earlier but I don't think you can replace Sonny so easily.
Sonny and Calvin are national treasures
This is not just a food & travel channel ....This is a cultural documentary that makes me appreciate our planet and I will support this channel till I'm an old woman. 🥰🥰🥰
An exclusive channel dedicated to the Indian food and culture. Great!! Reaping the benefits of huge Indian market..❤😂😅
We are stupid
I slightly disagree.. We are ignorant!!
Sonny's voice over >>>>>>> this is what I was missing here
Editors, you did an amazin job! thanks for 7:33-7:36
Finally! This sounds just right, no more monotone & boring audio
Sonny, I've watched just about all of your videos, but these dishes speak to me! I LOVE both Indian and Chinese foods, but to have such a fusion is next level!
Sonny... So good to hear ur voiceover !! do continue the same will watch this channels all day... Very enthusiastic
Seriously!! Just a different channel for us, Indians!! This is god send!! And your commentary...this is gold ❤
Telugu matladu bro
Really liked this variety of formats describing the dishes and getting the customers or owners to comment.
ooh boy that soundtrack...its just blending with the preparation and the naration 😇
I loved hearing the prononunciation of the words, but feel like the essense is in Sonny.
Maybe a combo, so we get the full 'authentic' 😂 experience. Love love that you heard our comments loud and clear ❤
I agree with you, I love then Indian accent, but Sonny’s voiceover is just a million times better. She was putting me to sleep, honestly.
Now I understand why I love Sonny's vids so much. He is the essence of the videos. I tried watching the other vids but I just cant bring myself to enjoy them subjectively speaking. No one can replace you in your videos Sonny. I think you shouldnt event try anyone else's voiceover
Sonny, whether it's his voice or his presence just adds so much more to the show.
All the food looks amazing. Chix lollipops, Momos, and Chilli Chix Sticky Sauce are now on my top list of foods to try
Omg how did I know know about this channel!!! Yessssssss another great channel Sonny!
i bet those guys can roll some sick joints
Yesssssss sonny voiceover!❤️
They have a place in Atlanta where I live called chinese dhaba, that sells indo-chinese food, and omg it is good af!
I love sonny’s voice. I cant watch the other videos till the end. I think it should keep it like this. 💓
Right?! No offense to the other person…but yeah…I think ‘her’ voice is better suited for calming stories that one might listen to while going to sleep. 😴
But seeing a food show…I need the spunk, fire, & fun…maybe it’s just me…😉🍔🌭🍜❤
I feel like if this channel does well then we'll get Best Food China, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea (s), etc. Lets go!
Everyone of those meals sounds and looks amazing!
Now this is..the best food ever ❤
Love the new Best Ever Food India channel 🙂
Thanks sonny and gang, amazing episode as always 😊
Finally Sonny!!!!
I live in Kolkata and I'm really happy to see my city and culture in your video ❤️
Lots of love from Kolkata ❤
Nothing beats the street food of Kolkata.... It's the best
Sonny always bringing the best food vids
From 40 k views to 100k
That shows how much we love sunny ❤❤
Yes! Sonny!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Around the 6:45 mark…I was thinking…this style reminds me of Hu-Hot in the US! 😂 Soooo good to hear your voiceover!! 🙌🏻❤️
Wow what a difference Sonny's voiceover can make! Enjoyed the new music style too!
Looking forward to the next upload.
Everything looks great and delicious 😋
Love your shows! 🫶🏻
it all looks so nice... i wish i could try it all!
yay! Sonny makes everything better!
All the dishes looks amazingly delicious, my choice of trying would be the chicken lollipop. The presentation was beautiful.
I'd eat that for sho.
your editor deserves a raise
This is really a good business plan. You hire local content creators to send you food vlogs and you simply do a voice-over. You save money and time and the content creator learns and earns money which she/he might not be able to earn in her/his own channel as she/he doesn't have the reach that Sunny has. Win-win for both.
For some reason I thought Sonny would have nothing to do with this series. I thought there would be an Indian version of him. Either way, I’m here for it ❤
People complained that Sonny wasn't doing the voice over and they didn't want the woman who did it originally, which is pretty crap if you ask me.
Everything looks amazing 🤩
Ahhh more on brand and on point. Nice pivot, well done team. I get the different focus, but now the personality and style is back. The editing is also well done, love the energy and music production. You brought me back to this channel...
Kolkata heaven
Your voiceover is all we need ❤❤
It's funny... So far in the other videos we had vegetarian dishes (unless I missed something), which, as a vegetarian, I liked very much. India has some awesome vegetarian dishes and the cuisine ranks among my favorites.
But as soon as Sonny joins, there's the meat. 😄
No judging here, just eat what you prefer .. I just found it funny.
Thanks for Visiting Kolkata - The City Of Joy. The best budgeted place for food lovers across India if not wrong. Next time if you visit Kolkata for Indo-Chinese food please do Visit - Chinese food - Tangra - Beijing Restaurant / Kimling Restaurant / Big Boss Restaurant / Golden Joy Restaurant etc, Hatari Restaurant (Kamalgazi), Terreti Bazaar (early morning). There are some other place also. Cheap and best variety street food stalls near - Esplanade area, Dalhousie area - in front Reserve Bank of India - street food, Decars Lane - Chitto Babur dokan, Shyam Bazaar area etc. Lots and lots of street food stalls crops up each and every day.
This is really interesting, Chinese street food is becoming so famous around the world, You can find these type of many food carts of Chinese street food in Pakistan too.
So delighted that Sonny finally visited my hometown. Wonderful video as always. Would have been perfect if he even used one bangla song in the background
I agree Sonny’s voiceover makes the show even better.
A separate India channel! Hell yes man hell yes.
That's my City By the Way.
My love. My Home.
Whaaat a whole channel just on Indian food? This is awesome!
You learn something new every day 👍
I like this format, it show daily dish in india but that same dishes are new to the internet. Still need a charming india host those. Keep on fighting guys ❤😊🎉
I want to see you try these dishes! it's not nearly as much fun without you in the video!
Kolkata ❤Paradise of delicious food 😊
Dude. Best video on this new channel. Some people have the chemistry and some don’t. I hated how the other girl (and I’m sure she’s a very nice person) constantly used “mouthwatering”, and she just didn’t have the “it” factor.
I've been trying to join this channel for a while. Looove you Sonny!
We Love SOnny
Having sonny do voiceovers makes a lot of sense but i still love to hear from the locals too
Thank god, Sonny is back!
FINALLY was waiting for this sooooooooo long
Chinese food stalls in India look delicious, I love them 👍
This channel can add a guide like Sonny, let this channel have one and maybe it'll grow I think
Indeed worth watching with such attractive presentations from Sonny. Thanks for showcasing the delicious food with that aura and rich history of Kolkata 😊
Man, kudos to the editor......nailed the editing at 7:33 👏🧡🤍💚
I had to watch this twice because it looks damn good
1:29 this dish looks soooooo damn tasty! Look at the ingredients and flavours going to work
Nothing can beat Sonny's voice....
Sonny you did an incredible job doing voiceover. All the food looked delicious 😋. 💙
Sonny is back yayyyyy!!!!!
Well India is the only country you will find every kind of food so this explains why this channel is all about Indian food 🙌🏻
wow the amount of dishes
The background music is spot on and the voiceover is a treat to listen
LMFAO the insect on the fork at 2:17 is the true secret sauce.
*searching flights to Kolkata* .... brooooke in minutes.
Whoever is responsible for the sound and music deserves a raise.
love the 2 girls' reactions being caught off guards with the filming. lol
Exelente genial
Thank you sonny for sharing Kolkatas food with the world
My goodness, all this looks so delicious 🤤🥰😋🤤🥰😋!
mouth-watering great eats
I’m Bangali and like his Kolkata accent is so cute bruh ❤
lol, which one resonated most?...that's like asking a parent to pick one child over the other...it all looked amazing and combined, would make one hell of a feast!!!
Sonny dude you rock!! Gotta have you in the videos.
I craving for them chicken lollipops now. In fact, almost all of the food featured :) i like that indian cooking uses alot of spices and flavourings, makes the taste really more delicious and POppin'
I do like the voice overseas but I enjoy more when he tries the food and gives his opinion.
Kolkata brought the INDO-CHINESE cuisine that has become the most famous food in India... so happy to be from the City of Joy and enjoy all these Delights growing up 😉

The correct term would be *‘Indianised Chinese’,* wouldn't it ?

"elaborate"
=================
*do you know WHICH region of the world is known as 'Indo China' (AKA Indo-China)?*
Look that up... you will get the 'elaboration' that you want.
@@ex.hindu.now.atheist First of all Kolkata didn't bought nothing majorly chinese food come to india through Uttarakhand and Ladakh when Tibetans took refugee in India they bought chinese food in india also in ancient times trade happen between india and china through Uttarakhand and Ladakh so these two states bought chinese food in india not kolkata
@@manankukreti8906I guess ignorants remain ignorants, so I won't say much.
I'll just say, these people of Kolkata are not Tibetians, but Hakka Chinese, an ethnically Chinese people, who migrated to India, settled in Kolkata during British Raj, and never left. Till date, they do not have Indian Aadhar cards, but live in India. They even refuse UPI payments as they aren't "Indian".
These people are what constitutes the "Chinatown" of Kolkata.
And also, Tibetian food is much different than Chinese, but I suppose you are that ignorant to even research it, simply because Tibetian food is much more suited to you and so you say Tibetian=Chinese. Because you cannot even imagine the Chinese foods available in Kolkata.
That dragon ball z shirt from the very beginning had my attention peaked. Love Indian people ❤️
Made a whole channel for India video 😀.
Well done Sunny ❤
Bangalis 👍 here
Sonny’s voice makes it even more better
The people behind this channel are smart! Good job
Kolkata has THE most diverse & tastiest flavous among all of INDIA. Proud to be a bengali.❤
Also, one thing that the chef did wrong was how he added the soy sauce. Always put soy sauce along the rim of the wok not directly into the food!!!!
