- Thanks to those of you who attended the class! I don't usually upload my Zoom class videos because the video quality is not always OK. This one, however, seems to be good enough.

Stuart…truly amazing you are, Sir. I could watch and learn from you 24 hours a day. Thank you!
Exhilarating, Gorgeous, Spiritual!!!
That’s another beautiful painting Stuart, I could almost hear the waves breaking 😊
Thank you once again for your generosity and kindness in sharing your talent. Every video is an inspiration. The provision of the transcript is helpful so thank you for that extra effort. Do stay healthy and well and know you are very much appreciated.
Amazing watching you do this, Stuart. I definitely want to have a try. Nothing turns out quite right yet, but am learning so much.😊
You have expired me to paint, I painted my first painting yesterday and I would have never thought I would be able to do that but It came out allright. Keep up the good work!! And thank you so much😊
As usual, Maestro, educational and entertaining. I must learn to stop saying to the video - "no, don't touch that"; you seem to have the knack of changing good sections to be even better!
Bravo Sir.
Great video! It's hard to believe you did it in about an hour
Incredible
Love watching you create your wonderful paintings. You are such a skilled artist.
YOUR VIDEOS INFORM, INSPIRE AND MAKE ME HAPPY!!!
Just magical! Most wonderful!
I love this painting! Thank You for showing how you did it! 😍
Thanks for uploading the video. I have only used acrylic paint in the past but you've inspired me to think about oil landscapes. You have an extremely relaxed and fun way of giving advice.
Once again, thanks!
I was using acrylics when I first started watching Stuart, and just couldn't get the look I wanted. I switched to oils and haven't looked back. His videos are so helpful and inspiring!
Very interesting Stuart l love your technic and your paintings a big THANKYOU.
Thanks I learned using a paper towel to remove paint and also to glaze later
Very nice painting Stewart. Always a pleasure to watch you work. Thank you for sharing 😊
Hi Stuart, I love to watch you paint, You inspire me. I haven't painted in some time however, I'm starting to get the itch again. Watching you,, I'm getting the importance of not trying too hard. Keep It flowing, don't stress on each brush stroke. I must admit I try too hard to look realistic & by doing that I get very frustrated, yet I'll keep trying till I can't anymore. It's been 3 years In summer I'm out in my garden, that's my therapy but now & have to start painting for the rest of the day, I need as much therapy as ever. Maybe, I'll even get a nice painting out of It, with some of your help! Thanks so much, Stuart, Again you inspire me! 🖌🌻🥀 🎶🎶🎶😅
Wonderful
Thanks for yet another helpful video, Stuart!
That is one beautiful painting!!! even tho it is not finished as yet.
Love this! Thank you.
Later…..I did this painting in acrylic on an 8x10 canvas. Of course it does not look like yours. Your sky is lovely, one was past painting like yous, so I simply made it uniquely my own with Dr Seuss like clouds.over those rolling waves. I don’t have that beautiful royal blue color , so manage to create with my own blues and now the painting hangs on a vanity wall.
I have chalked this up to be a learning experience. Meanwhile at 76 years old , not much time to learn so I am doing the best I can.
Planning on doing some Plein air painting and eventually getting back into oils.
Again, Thank you!
I love it❤
what not to do...just a couple of seconds but great advice thankyou. Love watching these videos.
Lol I thought I was getting better in my skies and I see this and back to the drawing board I go .. this is amazing
Wonderful.Thankyou .
Another success Stuart, so please stop underestimating your ability to paint waves, because they are always wonderful (I've watched them all).
You go on about getting into a relaxed state of mind for the clouds and then tense up every time you do a seascape - interesting !
Thank you for your inspiring lessons.
I have a question about going solvent free (I am an oil painter too). What oil do you prefer using as a medium and to clean your brushes? I have heard pros and cons about safflower oil. I have heard of using walnut oil but it is pricey. Should I just use linseed oil?
I have a continuous headache lately because I have been painting indoors with door and windows closed because it has been too cold! Normally I have windows and door open or paint outdoors.
I mostly use linseed oil, and I clean brushes with detergent. If I need to use turpentine for anything, I use it outside the house.
Thank you so much! So helpful! @@StuartDavies
your sound is muddy or meddled to no clarification of speech. i looked for that paper toewling in france for uses like "whipping".. but i can't find it on amazon . i take the paper here on location in usa for rolling it to a point but doesn't work.. on amazon which kind of rolled paper toweling do u suggest? richard
Some other guy, who's dead now (RIP), said never mix your paint on the canvas, yet you seem to always mix your paint on the canvas.
So many rules to follow... And they're always wrong...
