Stuart, I have watched ALL of your videos start to finish; no leaving or skipping! Some I have watched several times just to be sure I didn't miss anything. One day I am going to send you my own painting just to show you what I have learned watching your videos. I am an "old fart" like you (75) and have my share of "health issues", but I don't let it stop me or slow me down! Plenty o' time to REST after I stop moving! Thank you for ALL of your paintings and wonderful, warm narrations!
You never cease to amaze me with the way your clouds move on the canvas/boards. The clouds each have a life of their own...love it.
One of my favorite painting sessions. I really enjoy, and learn so much from your conversation throughout!! Thank you so much!!
Pure creation in process from beginning to end. Such joy watching you and hearing your wise words. Thankyou so much.
That was the most beautiful ocean Seascape that I look at at a daily event. I don't know how close you are to the ocean but that was a perfect storm coming in. Then you blew my mind when I saw a green hit the bottom when you kept saying landscape until I saw that green you could have launched a sailboat but it's all beauteous. Thank you for the visuals. Thank you hope you are feeling well
THIS IS SO COOL! YOU MAKE THINGS LOOKS SO EFFORTLESS AND LOVELY!
You are amazing - luv your tutorials x
Another wonderful class, it also made a great video too !!!!
Excellent, !!!
Thank You Sit ,
Oh no it would have made a wonderful seascape (love them) and then you proceed to make an absolute stunner landscape.Thank you
Many thanks!
So much wonderful info! Thank you
Ambidextrous, I'm one of those!
Me too, I can ruin a painting with either hand 😂
Absolutely stunning ❤
Wonderful painting
Gorgeous!
You paint gorgeous skies! Why are clouds darker and can have white background clouds? Clouds, (visible moisture), appear dark because there is less light refraction due to the size of the water droplets or rather, the larger space left around them that is formed by the change and light must pass through. Cloud shapes generally indicate types of air turbulence they cause. Cloud color also tells how direct the sun is, zenith being stronger. The combination of cloud shape and color tells a story. Ground surface formations influence cloud types: mountains vs lakes, plains, etc. My favorite type is 'Nacreous'. (Had meteorology studies during aviation ground schooling, but it was decades ago. Here's hoping I still have ok recall).
Like it! And...if ya saw it in half, you've still got 2 nice paintings. And the next time you do a path (1:18:15), don't forget, it gets wider the closer it gets to the viewer, and NOT the other way around! 🤪
Thanks for that, but not necessary, as you'll see in Part 2.
@@StuartDavies Haaa! I like to keep ya, on ur toes! And I'll keep an eye out, for Part 2. :o)

Hi what is Japanese red. How can I mix it. Can’t seem to get any consensus on it visiting art shops here. Thanks for the demonstration.❤
Try Vermilion, it's probably the closest :-)
