What kind of astroturf is used on this track?

Thanks! In my experience, sand filled astro turf from a field hockey pitch is very good. You can also get low-pile artifical grass "carpet" but this isnt heavy and can move around.

We're considering to converting our classic classic dirt track.
"Real" dirt seem kind of... dead :)

@@zeno6111753 I love "real" dirt so much. The best surface. The problem is the maintenance and how cheap entry fees are. Sand filled astroturf is lower grip and low maintenance.

​@@RacewayOne I wholeheartedly agree, but like you say a lot more maintenance is needed.
And since we're the last dirt track in the country (Sweden) its getting really hard to find dirt cars these days.
We're the last dirt track in my country, so its getting real hard to find D versions of the cars.
Also new drivers aren't too happy to hear that they can buy a used car put have to shell out just as much on hard to find conversion bits to get it to drive well on our track.
So I think its time to change and get with the times :)
