1 second into the video , i said out loud "this looks like southport" back in 1992? i raced brca national here and managed to make the A final in both 2 & 3 4wd classes. After the 2wd, the commentator 'Peter' said i wouldnt make the 4wd A final because Jamie and Craig weren't there for the 2wd. Well this spurred me on and i made the podium the next day. The thing i remember most was almost spraying the Mare of Southport with champagne as he was there to present the trophies. Without my sponsor George shouting out No, it probably would of happened. Great memories! This track seems to look a lot the same, particularly the tabletop jump. Well done Southport RC for keeping going this long.
