Hi Simone, the old indian rope tick does work lol, However should you need to remove the head its not a bad job on those engines. Best wishes for the New Year.

Take the airfilter off and fire some quickstart down the carb . It should fire up and suck out any crap blocking the jets. If not it's a strip down and clean of the carb, the float and fuel filter(s).

Hi Simone...not cold enough for it to freeze...its not like it was in 1963...the antifreeze u put in the radiator wont circulate the engine until the thermostat opens anyway....Have u tried taking the air cleaner housing off and spraying petrol into the carburettor venturi...dont use easy start...not good practice...and is there any spark to the plugs...could be contact breaker points...good luck....Bob....
