@@clothar23 Stashing does not mean hiding. It's just so much more convenient to grab your desk whiskey and glasses from the bottom drawer than go across the house to get it from the liquor cabinet. And leaving the room to replenish drinks during Friday night poker with the lads just kills the vibe.

She just did the "opening the fridge for the 5th time and hoping something new is in there" but behind a sofa.
And it just WAS there. Truly a deserving royalty skill
I know this isn't the point, but it's not really "hope something new is there." People tend to open the fridge/cabinet doors/wherever you keep your food multiple times like that when their brains are telling them to eat, but because they're not conscious of how hungry they actually are, they don't know what they even want to eat. Checking the fridge repeatedly, instead of just taking one longer look, is done because their brains are trying to get their eyes to latch onto something. It's done repeatedly because the longer you have to think about something, the more time you have to change your mind. So what ends up happening is that the brain develops a way to trick you into doing something (in this case eating) by subconsciously forcing you to make quick, spur-of-the-moment decisions without any time to think it over. Another way to put it is that your subconscious is trying to get you to go from "hmmmm, I think I want this. Or maybe this." to "Oh hey, this! Yes. Gimme." so you actually do what it wants.

@@NoGamingSkills I can only drink vodka straight if it's real high quality, otherwise is just tastes like rubbing alcohol(not a metaphor, I actually know what that tastes like). Unless I muddle some fruit piece in the glass first, with a mint leaf. Then it's super refreshing, but it still needs to be better than bargain bin vodka and definitely not grain vodka. That shit is awful.
