Can you imagine if Bob decided to get his bjj or sambo black belt instead of join the NFL in the late 90s/early 2000s? Just picking guys up and setting himself into full mount where he terrifyingly baby punches you to death. Honestly If the top strikers in the world were afraid to get hit by him especially early on in the fight, it would have been so easy for him to swing wildly and get a body lock if he had more than football instincts to rely on when under fire.
