Dear Lisa, about two months ago while looking for educational video's on Tarot, you tube tipped me on your Lenormand video's. I have three Lenormand Decks with three different explanations that made me throw these Decks in a corner somewhere in frustration. Now I've seen several of your highly educational videos. This video from you from two years ago telling the story about a project from the rider to the anchor AND the cross, connected the dots for me. A big THANK YOU. So I started with Tarot, I'm new to Lenormand
And when you got to Anchor followed by Cross
It reminds me of 9 and 10 of Wands
9 of Wands is completing this passion project, you're there, you had an idea and brough it to fruition
But 9 of Wands is followed by 10. which is the burdens that come with that success, or maybe you bit off more than you can chew
Maybe you're fine with these burdens, maybe you expected them, but it can weigh you down if you aren't prepared to handle the weight of success

What an Amazing course!! I always thought there is a Huge difference between what I learnt from my french teachers and the traditional one ! But the core vibe and the primary meaning is actually the same (Except for the birds). So I finally got it. The main issue between "schools" (i know there are no school) is the Work card at the end, coz i Learned to use the Fox card as an employment job (only when work reading otherwise it means wrong and deception) and the Fish for independent job, consultancy, freelance. That's the only main difference I see now (and the whip for sex vs lily for sex). Otherwise everything is similar and clear. I love love your courses! You are doing an amazing Job!
Great insights and thank you! The PV and core vibe for the Birds is the same too. At its core, it is agitation, excitement, and mental chatter. These things may be represented in different ways, but that's the core function of the card. Watch the new video on communication.

@@farahtemessek8867 that's what I thought you meant regarding the Birds. Remember that seeing it as a couple is not a primary/core meaning and would be a secondary or tertiary layer of information. It's a descriptor. It certainly can refer to speech when the context or surrounding cards suggest that, but again, talk isn't the PV of the card, but another layer or a descriptor (noise). As for sex, there's no sex card in the deck just as there's no work card. We use cards to describe these aspects of life and choosing a single card to represent a life area is necessary for GT reading. You need an established card to search for and read the cards touching it to describe that area of life. If you want to search for the life area of "sex" in a GT, would you choose to read around the card of discord (Whip) or bliss (Lily)? The Lily refers to harmony and complete satisfaction within the family or a relationship. This is why it is the life area card for sex. Whip describes aggressive sex or sex without love. Does that make sense?

I got exactly what you mean, to assign a card for a life area only for GT reading. I really have to go through all the different perspectives I have been learning so far and make up my mind around it , as i am still confused , coz i have learned whip for sex and fox for job, now I have your perspective and many other traditional readers, so i start to doubt my previous learning lol , the most important as you said is to pick and stick to it, i really need to figure out. today i did a gt for my friend, and i was no longer confortable using the fox as my job card, so i really need to choose my life area cards. thank you. my Journey to Lenormand was sooo confusing as first but now i am getting the core essence
@@farahtemessek8867 Well, don't worry about any of it, because you may decide on certain life-area cards this month and change the next - and that's ok! What matters is that it makes sense to you when you're using the cards as they connect to your subconscious beliefs. My original work card was the Anchor. I switched to Moon because I trained under Bjorn Meuris and that's his choice - it was easier for us to both be on the same page. I've kept the Moon but have considered going back to the Anchor. As for sex, both cards describe sex, but the meaning of the Lily is bliss and harmony. So if it comes up to describe a couple, then you can be sure they have an intimate relationship, but sex isn't the only aspect of a harmonious personal relationship. Whip is the card of fighting and even aggression, and if it's near the relationship cards, there's trouble. So, unless you're referring to one-night stands or rape, I don't know how to make that card fit. Because casual sex is so common now, I imagine that's why the Whip card fits. If someone is sleeping with someone but they don't really care about them (they're just using them for sex), then that would be shown by the Whip along with the Lily.

Isn't that soothing? My desk is next to the window to my garden where I have trees, bushes, and flowers all planted to attract birds and butterflies. I also have birdbaths and birdhouses. The garden is securely fenced and my dog keeps the cats out. It's a bird sanctuary! 😃
