      😅 Risky but doable. I'm confident with resin quality on this series.

    Interesting to see inside these watches. Thanks for the disassembly vid. Software functions add a lot of "complexity" to a watch, but not necessarily many more things on the circuit board. Things like Multiband, Solar charging and EL backlights add real hardware to the watch. Software cannot do these functions without additional hardware.

    Do you have a teardown of a GWM5610 on your channel? I'm curious if the lcd looks the same or is it more similar to the lcd of the 5700 series as it uses a full EL backlight.

    Hey, always love your videos! I'm wondering if you can confirm for me that the underlying case (underneath the metal bezel) of the 5000 metal Bluetooth series is metal or resin. Thanks!

    Waht is that connector called on 9:08? It connects the display with the main board, I know, but how is it called? how is it able to conduct electricity? It seems all black. Is there copper or smt there that connects the pins of the display to the main board? For your next disassembly I'd like to see that up close a bit! :)

    For the mirrored filter on the backside, is that replaceable with an lcd sheet and if so would it enable you to view the watch with polarized glasses?

    Hi, i just wanted to ask you something.My modul number on the back(3261) isnt same as the number of the model on test screen(3260) and on the main display it shows me 001d do u know why?

    • @gshockhighfashion
      @gshockhighfashion  Před 5 lety +2

      Interesting. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what those number means.
      From my experience, I'd seen them to match with the backplate and I'd also seen other model that show totally something else from the one on the backplate. To say that should exactly match all the time is just ridiculous right now. Some model just made that way.
      Also, from my experience of making module tutorial video, I had seen some model that came with 'module 1443' & 'module 1444'. The watch is exactly/literally the same DW-8800. Why is that?. Well, 1443 is non-jdm while 1444 is jdm version. 1443 (english roman installed) while 1444 (japanese alphabet installed).
      They differs in the construction of their processing unit/memory from factory.
      Other example:
      GM-100 G-Shock.
      Same series but came in varieties of module number
      2211 (song)
      2212 (different song)
      2213 (different song)
      2214 (different song)
      2215 (different song)
      Notice the pattern.
      Maybe, the 3261 and 3260 differs in the same way. But much more subtle.
      Either way, just don't take it too seriously, sometimes they just differ for reason that only Casio knows why.

    Isnit possible to make the alarm louder by putting in another piezo element ? Or, how should one go about making the alarm louder on these sodt of watches?

    • @gshockhighfashion
      @gshockhighfashion  Před rokem +1

      there won't be enough space for another piezo though.
      Anyway, there is this model called gm-100, where it was built to amplify its beeping sound. Maybe you could find inspirations from that.

    • @gshockhighfashion
      @gshockhighfashion  Před 4 lety +1

      Use alcohol swab and just wipe them away.
      You'll need to press the solar panel and the glass both out but he solar panel is easily breakable.
      Doable but very risky.

    • @Bugster987

      Normally this is only cause by module misalignment in the case, something is loose in there or the most common cause is the E-Clip got stuck to the metal panel inside.. which also is a misalignment thing.
