    Apparently some of the idiots commenting on way out playing haven"t heard of chormaticism, Clint Strong, or anything other than your Brent Mason country thinking. This solo isn't for you then .
    I'm me being me and purposely took this solo out to differentiate myself from the cliche garbage some players play over this song so deal w it.

    I had the pleasure of hearing and seeing you there at Roberts. I bought your book as well. I don’t think everyone at the honky tonks are just using y’all as background music.. I know I was not nor , was my wife. I’m a fellow musician playing small venue gigs . Totally enjoyed the time listening. Cheers Dallas

    Btw, did you exchange the neck pickup? Looks like the pole pieces are visible🤔

    I agree with some of these folk tasteful picking on what. Ever instrument is knowing how much to put in . Not just how well you know your instrument. You can put not enough in and you can put to much.
    Although I can see this fella has a vast knowledge of the guitar . I wish he would choose a little less . Have you ever heard less is more? It really is if you choose exactly what to do.

    • @RedDirtRules
      @RedDirtRules Před rokem

      Vocal tone is secondary in this situation. Chances are you're only hearing one of the monitors stage mix. This is about guitar prowess not vocals

      I’m playing what I wanna play . I play for the music and to have fun not for the audience . Their tourists 98 percent don’t even listen . It’s practice for me and I’m working out ideas .

      @@MatthewAlanLeeMusic that makes sense. I know really fine players evolve into jazz because the other stuff gets boring to them. I sure hear that with you.

      Most tourists don't "get into" the musicians individually. They just hear the band , in the background of all their socializing & chat.
      Workin' Man Blues is one of my favorites, mainly in anticipation of what the lead guitarist is going to do. Each one puts their own personality into it.
      This one was different & awesome! Very gifted! Thanks for sharing Matthew!
