  • I pushed this VTOMAN Jump 1800 solar generator hard with heavy loads in a multi-day endurance test. Test includes running 3 inductive loads, air conditioning, dehumidifier, vacuum cleaner, lights and USB loads. The system was charged throughout the test by 4 100-watt 12v solar panels. Does it pass the test? Watch the full review to find out!

    Great review. I just bought the 1500 with Solar panels just as a backup incase of power outage. For the price, I think the Vtoman is a great product.

      @ronsage452 Ty :) I think it performs pretty good too, especially the inverter

    Thanks for the review. Amazon is selling one with an extra battery and 220w solar panel for about $1400. Seems like a good deal for about 3000wh total.

    619$ interesting price compared to Bluetti AC180 which is over 700.

    Great review. Do you know if you can link up both these units to double its capacity? or you need the expansion battery for this? I have one trying to decide either purchase the battery or another unit cause you get all the accessories with it.
    Thanks.

      @konkaragounakis5924 Thank you, that is a great idea... In order to answer that question I'd need 2 of them to test side by side. Another option is to email VTOMAN and ask them if this is possible. I'm guessing it's not supported but "could potentially work".

      @solarpoweredge thanks for your reply. Yes, I have emailed the vtoman Nil value, again great presentation enjoyed your review, and I look forward to further episodes from your show.

      @konkaragounakis5924 Welcome :) thanks for the good feedback, more stuff on the way. As soon as there is time I will investigate the Jump external battery capability and see if it can be used like you described. I am sure it's unsupported but for solar DIY'ers could be an interesting idea. Believe me when I saw the XT battery connector on there it gave me all kinds of ideas... just need to order some XT connectors so I can test

    Does this unit have an automatic shutoff (after 2 hours)? If so, can it be programmed not to?

    • @solarpoweredge
      @solarpoweredge  Před měsícem +1

      @shannonmcdonough6052 Hello, I ran an AC unit non-stop for hours and never had it shut off. However if there is no load on it for a long time, I'd not be surprised if it shuts off automatically

      @@solarpoweredge I bet the no load is the reason. THANKS!!
