I imagine Nagato would freeze a little once he sees Kushina, an Uzumaki mother with red hair fighting for her family's lives, because Nagato's own mother was also an Uzumaki with red hair who died fighting to protect him. He would see this connection after Konan begs him to look around at the suffering he is causing in the Leaf.
His pain is still far greater than the leafs wouldn't have changed anything

We need more of these. Also, I'd argue that Kakashi would have been, while not as strong as in canon, but still stronger. Mind you, the Sharingan kept draining his chakra, hampering his quality and duration of training. He was the son of one of Konoha's most powerful shinobi. Yes, his arsenal would be more limited, but knowing him, he'd complement it by normal training, since he would have had more chakra without a sharingan eating through it.
Yeah it's not like kakaashi got some major power boast from it. If you look at his fight with zabuza it just made him faster and being able to imatate zabuza.
Plus he only uses 4 jusuts within the whole series so that won't really effect him at all
The chakra drain from OVERUSE of his Sharingan stopped being a real factor like in Act 2 of the timeskip.

Here's the thing, kakashi had depression from everyone he cared about dieing back to back basically. So he never truly trained to reach his full potential. With everyone alive he wouldn't be depressed, thus he would most likely still have motivation and drive to train to get stronger. Meaning he may just rival or surpass his guilt ridden sharingan counterpart.
Not to mention he had surpassed Obito by becoming a chunin by the time they went on the mission that took Obito. He was a genius even without the Sharingan. He had to adapt to it because it drained his chakra.
Obito could've returned to the Leaf if Madara hadn't twisted his mind.

Madara would not have been resurrected because only an Uchiha with Hashirama cells like Obito could use the King of Hell to resurrect someone who died almost a hundred years ago while Nagato couldn't even use the Outer Path to resurrect Jiraiya who was dead like not even a day ago because Nsgato said that Jiraiya died too long ago for him to bring him back...

I cheered, I gasped and my heart was moved. This story understands the characters and the core of Naruto so well it’s elevated beyond fan fiction. To me this is a very real alternate universe.

Personally, I go with the idea that Uchiha transplant eyes rather than fuse them. So when Itachi gets Fugaku's eyes, he passes his own eyes to Sasuke, both getting EMS. Then, working in the universe that the Uchiha consider their eyes sacred, Sasuke's preserved eyes would be transplanted into Fugaku to bring it all full circle.

In the confines of this fanfic theory, he got his MS from Kakashi dying in the fight with Orochimaru.
In the original manga/anime, Obito has Hashirama's cells grafted onto the right side of his body and therefore his eye is being healed continuously, as such he suffers no downsides of using his MS.
@@darkinnovator2479 tho that becomes less of a thing the further we go into the story, cause Kakashi does not have Hashirama cells and yet is using the MS like as if he has the EMS and cant go blind on his MS... if we go by what an MS meant at the beginning of the series and go by what it means to have one at the end of it... you'll see a big difference.
cause at the beginning Kakashi couldnt use the MS once really, he did and then immediatly felt like he overused it and was in the Hospital for several days afterwards, meanwhile spamming it in the 4th Great Ninja War like as if he had the EMS... no longer any downsides to it, so the question then becomes: is it actually because Obito has Hashirama cells or is it because Kishimoto just didnt like the idea of the eyes going blind the more you use it?
which means you cant really tell someone what actually caused Obito's eyes to not go blind, cause if we take Kakashi's MS... he would've been blind ages ago and 100% in the last Ninja War. - so sayin that Obito's eye did not go blind cause of Hashirama cells... we're entering a territory of: Plotholes. Which will cause confusion.
so sayin that Obito's eyes are simply special is something that is a much better solution, due to the fact that Kakashi's didnt go blind nor had any down effects the further went in the storyline. Which could btw mean that you only go blind if your Eye bleeds after using the MS (which as far as i remember did not happen on Obito's MS)

Naruto seems to be left out of this story a lot. Granted he won't have the Nine tails, but since he would have trained under Minato, Jiraiya and Kakashi, I thought he would be strong enough to join the fight against Pain. At least he would be by Kushina's side with Obito. Also, Rin should have been mentioned somewhere in this video.
Naruto wasn't the smartest but I could see him as a weaker Minato with flying rajin and the rasengan however he probably wouldn't learn the rasenshuriken as he wouldn't be in dangerous situations like the original show

I can see Rin training under Lady Tsunade and then being a mentor to Sakura. Both awakening the byakugo and fighting as well; Rin by Kakashi and Obito's side and Sakura by Naruto and Sasuke's side.

I mean, I don't even think that Pain would really be that much of a threat or even form the Akatsuki. Yea, Danzo kills the original members of the Akatsuki, but it was Obito's shenanigans that lead Nagato to actually pursuing the tailed beasts and recruiting for the Akatsuki. It's speculation at best what he would actually do without the influence of Obito.

He'd at the very least be as strong in many ways. Kakshi is confirmed to have continued getting stronger after he lost it, not weaker. So it's not stopping his growth. It just gives him extra abilities he wouldn't have here.

I absolutely loved your character arc for Konan.
She deserved so much more than she got.
She, at the end of everything, was once again all alone. Her faith in nagatos warped perception of the world did everything they were supposed to stop. She, in an attempt to end all war to stop people losing loved ones, ended up all alone with all the people she ever loved having been killed by the wars they perpetuated
I think Kakashi would still be pretty insane. After all, he wouldn't have his growth stunted by PTSD and would train his whole life.

My problem with the theory as presented, is that you have Madara going to Nagato after Nagato summons the Gedo Statue, but wouldn't the summoning of the statue kill Madara as soon as he is disconnected? Black Zetsu would be more likely to be the one visiting Nagato instead.

Something that Mick messed up on in his script/train of consciousness dialogue:
Since Obito never took it upon himself to take revenge on the Mist, that means that Yagura didn't get the genjutsu put on him, and the rain of defections (and likely even the hunter nin division) wouldn't have occured. Zabuza is therefore in the village still, since he had no reason to kill Yagura, and Haku is probably still with his family, because the bloodline purges probably didn't occur.
But most importantly, because the defections didn't happen, that means that Utakata didn't defect. He's probably not just sticking around in the village doing nothing, but he'd be in a position to get reinforcements.
W video but I respectfully disagree on Kakashi being asuma level lol without the sharingan Kakashi would've trained more to his strenghts and perfected them rather than simply relying on the sharingan and its copy ability. As he is right now in the Boruto era (no sharingan), he's stronger than he was in the war arc (with the sharingan) having created purple lightning which is stronger than the chidori

Wouldn't Fugaku be able to turn new eyes into Sharingan too? He's still got the chakra that turned his original eyes into sharingan. I'd even go as far to say he could have to reawaken them and start from scratch and also not have the mangekyou but he'd at least get his regular Sharingan back before long
I think it being a kekkei genkai, it would be a bit difficult to remake it but ur prolly right that it was possible given that Orochimaru was able to do so.
I have 2 major problems with your story that I think completely breaks the plausibility of it.
1: The moment nagato summons the ghetto statue he would unknowingly take out madara. So madara would be chilin one day, and get unplugged from his statue.
2: Kakashi became the hokage without a sharigan so there is no way he was ever going to be just regular. However more importantly when kakashi, and obito talk about the possibility of obito not being that seriously injured that day they both are still convinced that kakashi would have ended up with one of obitos eyes. Obito envisions him and kakashi being almost unstoppable working together each with a sharigan. Look at the images you used of the day dreams obito had of himself living this timeline, and becoming hokage, in this he has a bandanna over 1 eye, because kakashi still gets his sharigan, and seems how it’s obitos eye to give away, and he can’t envision himself not giving kakashi his Sharigan. Anyway if obito had both eyes we have seen what his susanoo was capable of, and there is a reason the writer of the story made sure that susanoo wasn’t a power that could be spammed by a person in his world.

You are a great writer. I'm more often impressed with your theory crafting or rewriting videos and the amount of creativity. Just wanted to mention a minor detail, you have not mentioned Naruto once other than suggesting the fact Minato saved him. Even sauske got more screen time than Naruto in your narrative 😂 I also want to know what of Jiraya in your narrative. I miss that part in the plot line and I want to know what the alternate future holds for him, and perhaps Tsunade which I want to know what happens in her life. Do Naruto just become useless in Pains fight? Is he there somewhere? Anyway sorry for the long comment, but I would like a part two addressing the story of more characters, and what path leads them. You are an amazing creator and even better (imo) storyteller, so I believe you'll figure it out 😊
I disagree about Kakashi: he wouldn't be Kakashi of the Sharingan but he would still be a genius with a lot more chakra reserve and very might have still become a legend in his own right, like his father before him. Which is supported by the fact he became canonically stronger after having lost the Sharingan (DMS excluded).

Obito would be so much weaker, he gained his eyes and power due to these events.
You forgot part 2 of this "what if". Tobirama somehow managing a reanimation jutsu on himself, from the otherworld, right after an uchiha became a hokage.
Where do you get the idea that chunin Obito was considered a genius on par with Kakashi? If anything, Obito was a late bloomer who cried a lot, made bad excuses, had borderline treasonous beliefs, and was chronically late. He was the heavy hitter of the group but that's because his teammates were a medic and a skinny kid who was probably several years younger. Obito as an adult is incredibly powerful but a lot of that can be chalked up to his time with Madara.

I think Kakashi not getting the sharigan wouldn't nerf him. At first he proably would be weaker and not able to use chidori but I think his ceiling would be higher. He wouldn't have the stamina drain and wouldn't need to spend time on learning how the sharigan works. Who knows minato could teach him flying rajin and or devlop purple lighting earlier. In your scenario Kakashi wouldn't go through all the trama and I feel that would make him stronger as well. I do think if he went up against orchimaru when you had him he would die for sure. I just think if he didn't die he has the potential to become sanin level or even a little bit higher. His dad was stated to be stronger than the sanin who says he couldn't either.
I agree. Kakashi was considered a genius and had eclipsed Obito by the time they went on the mission - the eye was Obito's way of celebrating Kakashi's chunin graduation. I imagine they'd be friendly rivals, since Kakashi would be one of the strongest in the village.

i think you're underrating how strong kakashi would be without a sharingan. it was constantly draining him and made his stamina complete shit. sure he was stronger but that was because he was cunning and used it as effectively as possible.

He was well known as kakashi of the sharingan & the copy ninja in the beginning of Naruto so it’s definitely a decent hit to his reputation, still strong but definitely not as legendary as people saw him.
I'm not sure that I agree Kakashi would be a 'fair to middling' high level Jonin without the Sharingan. Kakashi without his Sharingan after the war actually got significantly stronger than he ever was with it. So he's absolutely capable of being top tier without it.
Also, doesn't it take days to be able to use EMS after having the eyes transplanted?

The boulder wasn't really the problem. The problem was half of Obito's body was crushed and they didn't have any way to heal him. If they removed the boulder he likely would've just died quicker due to blood loss and shock.
I imagine Naruto wouldn’t do as much as the Uchiha boys, but I imagine he would help fight at least a little bit. Keep in mind he still new techniques like rasengan and maybe rasenshuriken, and he would probably know flying raijin. Also, what about the cycle of hate?
He dodged the first bolder and got hit by the second… The story plays out the same.

There’s a lot of things to consider here but mainly two things:
If Obito wasn’t crushed by the boulder then that means he failed to save Kakashi in time which means that Kakashi dies and Obito possibly gets MS the same day as he unlocked his Sharingan.
Secondly,
There is nothing that prohibits someone (the author) from giving Obito an alternative to EMS.
For example,
Obito could be gifted one pair of his parents preserved eyes by Fugaku who was Clan Leader.
Fugaku could have hidden the fact that Obito’s parent(s) unlocked the MS before or at deaths door, for the same reason that no one knew Fugaku had MS.
Planning all along to gift Obito with these eyes if he got MS.
Sure this is a plot device, but it could nonetheless be true and give Obito a clear path to EMS as Sasuke.
So when nagato summoned the Gero Statue wouldn’t madara have been disconnected from it and wouldn’t that have killed him?
One thing I can say about Nick... Consistency. This man's work ethic is off the charts !! Great video 👍💯 but quick question, how would Obito and Kakashi handle the Mist sealing the three tails inside of Rin ? That would still happen whether he got crushed or not because the Mist took place in the war.

I agree if can seem very “high school, but it makes sense in the canon, because uchiha aren’t necessarily more inclined to evil, but rather they feel emotions far more strongly than normal people. So what is a “high school crush” to a normal person to a uchiha is the greatest love ever. If you watch sasukes arc he was literally getting more, and more powerful by the minute in his fight with the kage, and than danzo. This power boost was because he’s hatred was getting stronger, and stronger.
The uchiha are basically depicted as emotionally out of control teenagers.

Definitely ur best type of videos! Love how deep u get with it man like I’ve said so many times before it’s a crime that ur not one of the lead writers for the show lmao. I think a cool next what if would be what if some of those kages that died in the first great ninja war like tobirama, mu, gengetsu, and even the lesser known like the 2nd raikage didn’t die. I think it would be interesting, some of them still being alive would change the entire story in different directions.
