Sweden was literally a utopia, one of the happiest of most peaceful nations on earth, and we threw it all away for absolutely no reason.

Ever since Palme died the party has been losing it's socialist values which is what's caused the decline of the swedish government.
If the moderates hadn't dismantled a lot of the welfare system in the early 2000s, the refugee crisis whouldn't be nearly as bad as it is now.

It's sad. My dad told me when he was young (born 1951) nobody needed to lock doors or anything. It was so peaceful and never a crime in months. Nowadays it's 6 crimes a day.

Skojar du din dumskalle. Självfallet var livet jävligt mycket bättre 1949. Även disponibla inkomsten var betydligt högre än idag. Dessutom hade alla familjer. Idag är det världens singeltätaste land med flest överfallsvåldtäkter och enorm arbetslöshet. Din förbannade klant.
Man gifte sig när man var 23, levde på samma sätt i resten av sina liv. allt gick ut på att klara sig. Kvinnorna var hemmafruar och hade inte mycket att säga till om. Det var tabu att skilja sig, så du var tvungen att leva med den här idioten som du hade gift dig med när du var ung och dum.
Varför säger du att man inte kan ha familj om man är singel? Var får du ens din "fakta" ifrån att "ingen har familj", "singeltätast", "enorm arbetslöshet", "flest överfallsvåldtäkter"? Om du tror på detta så har du en otroligt skev världsbild och du borde utnyttja den otroliga frihet som du har idag, till skillnad från på 40-talet. Res, se länder och kulturer istället för att vara feg och sitta hemma så ska du se att du kommer förstå att Sverige är otroligt!

What a wonderful place Sweden was! Peaceful and blessed with beautiful small towns before most of them were distorted by arrogant "progressive" architects and politicians. And nowadays crime has overtaken the country and ruined it forever. 😪
Goteborg is just amazing. I visited in 2007, a while ago, and the Swedish summer and hanging with new friends in a youth hostel was awesome. We all laughed at a sign that said "Gångbana" (Swedish for sidewalk). We also swam in the 'Sea of Vrango'.
Goteborg is a sh!thole. No sane person wants to live there. Volvo can't get any engineers to come work for them because no one wants to live in Goteborg. That's right.

Drastically romanticized, but very pretty indeed. Sweden now is changing a bit for the worse of course, but society in western civilization as a whole is drastically changing so this is not simply to blame on politics and the multiculturalism we are seeing. Work simply does not look the same these days, and people change to adapt to the new environments.

It seemed to me, judging by the video, that Norweigian Men have more iconic facial features than their woman counterpart.
Norwegian? This is Sweden. And yes, we were a blend already in the 1940s. After trade and exchange (plus many wars) with France, Russia, Holland, Wallonia, the Hansa League, and the rest of the continent since before the middle ages, not all Swedes got that typical Viking look.
But still it is somewhat distinct.

But my point was that we have had plenty of dark haired swedes too, for many hundreds of years. (I forgot to mention the dark haired sami people, that we also mixed with.) The influx of middle eastern people and africans is new though.

Just trying to understand what the issue is with you people and if it’s most important that people are white or ethnically Swedish (And If ethnically Swedish is the most important a whole lot of white Swedes would also have to leave, since very few don’t have ancestry from other parts of the world) Also even if there are many Swedes who are somewhat racist and many who don’t want immigration it’s a minority that are ethnically racist. Certainly it would be sad to see blond hair decline or disappear in Sweden, or timber rafting (to borrow from the first commenter), but the bigger picture that matters is who the Swedish people are in all aspects. All that is threatened by immigration. I don’t think French people or anyone else should be moving to Sweden in substantial numbers. And I know many Swedes will disagree with this. This is because Western peoples have taken individualism and cosmopolitanism to absurd extremes. What I’m saying would be common sense for most non-Western countries.
