- There are many characters that the Warriors fandom considers to be amazing. However, I don't agree with the majority all the time. Here are the ten most liked cats that I'm not a big fan of.

Silverstream acctually has A LOT of personallity while she was alive. In the few scenes we get to see her, she is snarky, arrogant, proud, passionate and loving. The reasons many people remember her as this boring beauty is because they completly changed her character once she joined starclan.

I honestly did not like Silverstream's attitude but maybe that was just me 😂 Reading Leopardstar's Honor, Silverstream basically snapped at Leopardfur after she told Silverstream to stop seeing Graystripe or she wasn't loyal to RiverClan. I mean, Leopardfur was just looking out for her, but also Silverstream just seemed really bratty and spoiled, although you could argue the same with Leopardfur(?)

Real talk, silver is an arrogant idiot. She yells at her own leader, and doesn't give a darn about graystripe at the beginning, but then he grows on her. We don't see those first meetings, and she only went out of curiosity.

Greystripe (I loved him as an apprentice sm and I loved his relationships with silverstream and Millie I liked how he was able to move on from silverstream)
Silverstream (I found her kinda interesting ngl)
Bluestar (I really love her, leaders often have very clear flaws and I like that, she was the reason why I read the series in the first place so I generally like her)
Cinderfur (when she was an apprentice, I really related with her. And I loved her relationship with yellowfang)

Hollyleaf (I find her interesting cuz of her interaction with Fallen Leaves)
Brightheart (I like how she went from a boring background cat( to a great cat)
Scourge (I like how much he can surprise the fans by killing Tigerstar)
Graystripe (I like how he moved on from Silverstream to Millie)
Cinderpelt (I even liked her before her leg injury because she had a personality that developed to make her a brave, honorable, and sweet cat.)
Silverstream (I like how her love with Graystripe became Graystripe x Millie)
Bluestar (I love how she developed to become the cat that Firestar honored for her sacrifice)
Brackenfur (I like him because of jokes about him trying to become more than a background cat)
Mapleshade (I just like her and Idk why lol)

Honestly for 12 year old me, Bluestar’s book made me cry. I’m not afraid to admit it
I can see why you think these cats are overrated! I definitely think that Jayfeather is overrated, but that doesn’t mean people won’t stop loving him XD. And yes, I adore Brightheart, but I just find her appealing, and I see why she’s overrated.
However, some of the medicine cats from other clans are SERIOUSLY underrated. Like Kestrelflight, who’s a sweet ass boi, Willowshine, a delightful girl, Puddleshine, a fluffy boy who’s in love with Alderheart, and Frecklewish. DEFINITELY FRECKLEWISH. SHE’S SO GREAT.

Pretty sure only one cats can be cat-egorised as horrible in Mapleshade’s Vengeance. Mapleshade herself. There are some cats like Appledusk who was just generally a bit of a jerk or Oakstar was also a bit of a jerk but it’s not like he sentenced Maple to death, he just told her to leave with her children and unless she took a unnecessarily dangerous way like the thunderpath or the deeper part of the river, in a storm which is also currently flooding.

I blame Ravenwing for making a huge deal about a prophecy that had a 50/50 chance of being about the kits.
I blame Frecklewish for creating a lie and blaming Mapleshade for it before refusing to save her kits.
I blame Appledusk for lying and blaming Mapleshade for something she hadn’t even meant to happen.
And lastly, I blame Mapleshade herself for bringing not just giving her kits a badger ride across the river or simply carrying them across and then murdering 3 cats.

He was just kinda interesting, I believe he’s the first cat to fake a sign from StarClan, his ambition pushed him and his personality along and he died so suddenly. I think we should have seen more development :)

Brackenfur being one of maybe three cats willing to give Snowkit a chance to become a warrior is all I ever needed to know about him, honestly. People say he has no personality and does nothing - but they overlook that he's done so much. Or perhaps they just forgot?
Chasing the hawk that took Snowkit until he couldn't anymore. Wanting to mentor him and supporting Speckletail's want for him to be a warrior. He was a part of Silverstream's kitting. He helped to escort Tigerstar after he went after Bluestar. He blames himself for Tawnypaw leaving. He mentors three of the best she-cats in the series, at least in part: Tawnypelt, Whitewing, and Hollyleaf (and Sorrelstripe, but...). He goes after an eagle *by himself* to save a kit. He was there when Cinderpelt was fighting badgers, defending the nursery and his family with her. He comforts Berrynose after Honeyfern's death; can you imagine how bad he must have felt, but still, he found it in him to comfort her mate? He's good with kits and apprentices and is shown comforting other cats often - a trait not many toms share. Not to mention, it's heavily implied he stays close to Cinderpelt - something not many siblings really do in Warriors.
These aren't just like, extrapolations or anything - they're right there in the books.
Brackenfur lost his mate. He's lost kits. He's stayed humble and hardworking.
I personally feel he deserves all the love he gets and more, and that a lot of his actual accomplishments are overlooked and people just act like he did nothing because they don't take the time to look.
The books wouldn’t be the books without all of them.

Say what you want about Bluestar's death but I say she died with honor, losing her final life protecting her deputy. And before you say something like, "As deputy, he should've been able to take care of it himself." I'll have you know that dog was more of a bear in my opinion. So Bluestar sacrificing herself to save Fireheart may have been the saddest thing for readers, but I think it proves that she was the best choice for leader. P.S. This is my opinion.

Brightheart was really nice and i loved that she worked so hard to achieve her dream as a warrior even with her injuries, also her and cloudpaw were adorable
Graystripe's goofy personality from the first book was honestly cute and i think there should be another cat like that. But i just dont want them to go the same path Graystripe did. I would love to see them become one of the main characters or at least not a background character.

My mom only knows what I tell her and my dad knows nothing about the series because having divorced parents means you totally won’t feel weird and try to distant yourself from one of them, especially if they divorced when you were a baby and only lived with one parent and rarely saw the other your whole life

About Brightheart. Bluestar was never mean, she is just not herself after the Tigerclaw Incident. And I know my theory maybe wrong, but in regards to Silverstream's death, could it be possible that Mapleshade was responsible for her death? When Bluestar's sister, Snowfur died, it is to my view very sad and she did have some meaning to the story in the original series.

10. Hollyleaf, her life was just...STRESSFUL! Her thinking she was part of a prophecy, finding out her MOM was LEAFPOOL, killing Ashfur, hiding, then dying? Life kind of sucks for her. I wouldn't call her "popular", but in the books before she disappeared, she was kind of popular.
9. Brightheart. She was popular in the first series, but then she just becomes a background character. With her not pleasing Jaypaw(feather), she kind of was rude. Asking about how to teach HER apprentice? I call that irresponsible.
8. Not much to say about Scourge. You pretty much said everything that needed to be said.
7. Graystripe became a background character the second he became an elder. He WAS popular in the first series. As the series progressed, other characters became more popular.
6. Hawkfrost? It appears Tigerstar's clones have become weaker! Hawkfrost didn't kill ANYONE when he was alive, plus, he couldn't stay deputy!
5. Brackenfur has mentored LOTS of apprentices. Its about time for him to die! He is an elder, he is old, its time for him to rest in peace.
4. Without Silverstream, not much of the series would exist. But, she DOES die the Darkest Hour. If Silverstream hadn't kitted, we would have NO "Silver cat prophecy". I could keep talking and talking, but I will move on.

Now about Bluestar. I love Bluestar. She is like me, except she is a cat. She has a lot of grief in life, but she still continues to live her life. She makes sacrifices for others. I personally think that she shouldn't be on this list, but of course, this is YOUR opinion.
2. Cinderpelt seems like a drag at times. She tries to stay happy, but from what is shown by other medicine cats, she doesn't seem happy. But then becoming Cinderheart? How lucky can you be? LUCKY!

I feel the same about Silverstream
She's just a kind of "disney princess" like "save me"
But for Bluestar, actually I think her super edition is well writed and it made me cry when Snowfur died and when Whitekit said he wanted to stay with her ;-; (and I do not cry for everything -_-) and her evolution was very interesting for me.
About Brackenfur, I don't really feel like he is overrated. He is a good character that as NEVER broke the code wich is kinda great. Even if a lot of people like him, for me he's not overrated.
Anyway this is just my opinion, and I know that everyone has a different point of view about overrated characters.

I completely agree! I personally enjoyed Bluestar’s Prophecy a lot more than some of the main series books. But maybe that’s because of the sad kit scenes and Featherwhisker and Thrushpelt.
Remember this is my opinion but....
I think silverstream isnt even a princess? I mean SHE was the one to save graystripe and you mentioned her as a "save me princess" i really like silverstream cause she saved my boi GrayBae but other than that, i was really enjoying rrading about her and Graystripes relationship. I was happy that GrayBae was happy. And i think silverstream isnt overrated į quite think of opposite. Shes such a hated cat for no reason. She literally saved half of the warrior cats (cause there were alot of Graystripes generations) and she really showed him that she loved him. So i dont get ir, why ppl actually hate her.

In my opinion, Firestar is on top of the list for me because he did amazing things like joining ThunderClan due to the lack of warriors, believing in Ravenpaw when he tells his best friends that Tigerclaw/star killed Redtail in hopes of becoming deputy, saving Bluestar from Tigerclaw while in a battle with Brokenstar and his rouges, told ThunderClan Tigerclaw is evil, etc.
Firestar is my favorite warriors character for his amazing backstory, his personality, and for fulfilling his prophecy, “Fire alone will save our Clan.” Well, in some ways, he didn’t fulfill his prophecy alone, but if you get what I’m saying. ;)
Also, Mapleshade is literally the warriors version of those nice girl posts you see where they threaten to murder everyone you love if you try to leave their toxic ass
A lot of people think this but I don’t think Firestar is overrated. He was the character we all came to love in the beginning, a good protagonist, and a good start of what to expect of the series.
I was really expecting Firestar to be number one on the list tho

Yeah I dont really like arc one firestar he was just too perfect and, like, EVERYBODY knew he was gonna be leader because he was so perfect, even I knew that, and I was in the first book!

I got 3 impressions from Bluestar’s Prophecy:
Goose feather had a horrible later life and I feel so bad for him.
Featherwhisker is adorable and I wish we got to learn more about him.

Akira I had an idea for one of your challenges but I don't know if you have done it or not. I put up a poll on your amino asking if people would like the challenge and 90% voted yes. I loved Scourge! My only problem is that he was only there for what, one book? I wish they made him more important, because I thought he was really cool.
Edit: I wanted to make sure people know that I didn't read 'The Rise of Scourge', but I am looking forward to getting it, so I can see more of Scourge.

I was surprised to see that Jayfeather wasn't on this list. He's really overrated in my opinion
The list is more of his opinion on what cats so many people love but he personally doesn't like. But yes. I hate him lots, he is one of my least favourite.
