somehow majima looked more presentable as a fish-wrangling hobo. that aside, had to do a double take when the real time duels kicked in with kiryu's memories of them. that was kino.

Dawg i was overleveled by 7 levels and they were still kicking my ass. Shit was awesome
Bruh me lmao I pulled out Poundmates and everyone's special moves and Kiryu's awakening (that helped the most)
Just be over 3 or 4 levels above them and the boss fight is easy
I think you didn't have good equipment on. Wasn't too overleveled but had pretty good equips on some of my chars. Also, had skills that Maejima was weak to

Me too! My memory of playing all the former Yakuza series came back so strongly
I only notice now that Daigo uses something similar to Kiryu's awakened Brawler Combo.
This is also where I summoned Akiyama, bringing them back together.
Ah yes The Yakuza 5 we just need Shawn Homerun, Mark Tortoise, Jay Kurohyou and Itchybun Dragon to make the Yakuza 9. (Real talk tho that's pretty cool you did that Kyoudai, wish we could see them together again Godwillingly :)
Yeah, that is what I thought when I saw it. If anything, I think this would be a moveset used by another character in the future, maybe for Yagami as his Spirit/Dragon style, colored purple or something…

By far the best moment of the entire game (which has many highlights).
I loved the scene with the new cast holding their own against these beasts; Zhao, Nanba, Seonhee and Saeko are my goats!!! If only, like, there was a 4th old legend to fight, and we coulda seen Saeko jump in too

This fight is amazing, but their buffs would be much scarier if you couldn't remove them with something like Court Maintenance before they get a single action off with them lol
