They already showed games using foveated rendering. Focusing more rendering time on the areas that you are looking at since only a small part of our vision is actually sharp. Definitely requires low latency, high frame rates to use this tech and it enables high framerates with high quality graphics as a result. PSVR 2 games were described as looking much better than current high end PC VR...
Framerate won't be an issue. I don't think Sony wants anything out of the door less than what the specs of what this thing are to keep people from getting sick. So 90 or 120.
Eye tracking + foveated rendering will allow the PS5 to punch way above its spec in PSVR 2. People have to be aware of the significant performance advantage that these features provide.
It will be in the market soon (thats what the comunity asumes). Remember you will need a ps5 and the PSVR2 will be not be cheap. stay tuned whenever there are updates.
Sony is being incredibly misleading with that marketing, its not 4k, its just close to 4k if you combine both screens. Its going to be much more pixelated than 4k.

I have played games for more than 20 years and i just bought the ps vr 1 i never tried ps vr 2 and let me tell you this after playing the ps vr 1 i never experience something that cool in my life so incredible it feels like you are in the game i never felt like this since jumping from ps2 to the ps3 , i cant imagine how amazing ps vr 2 is , i will definitely buy this once i finished ps vr 1 games that i want
Wow! Brilliant and modern design. Sony always amuzes me❤️👍
This will be such a pleasure for the eyes
Yeah the headaches and dizziness are going to be fantastic 👌
I literally just watched your Rec Royale video. And here you are.
I´m into VR since 2016 with PSVR1 and now with Quest 2 and PCVR games. I love it! Next stage: PSVR2!! =D
Doct you get headache. I do
what are some of your favourite games? I completed Half Life: Alyx on Quest 2, but I've sold it since then, and I was wondering, if it's worth getting back into VR
I’m in the same boat bro...can’t wait for the next stage and waiting to play re8 on psvr2 ❤
Quest 2 + 3080 combo is pretty nice. We will see how this compares
@@LeoStep93 wait for bonelab or play boneworks
Now this is what i call innovation❤️That’s why Sony is way ahead 💯
I tried the VR2 this weekend and its totally wild!!! Ive never had a PS before but I'm about to place an order for PS5 + VR2 and Im probably buying VR Games only.
i think the 4k HDR display is going to make a huge difference as long as it runs at a high framerate
They said it will be up to 120 fps.
90/120
That eye tracking thing just blew my mind🔥🔥 It's gonna be amazing to play with
The soundtrack behind this makes it even more cinematic I need a full version 😂
if u still want it, ODESZA - Behind The Sun
Honestly I got chills looking at this. I NEED this. Will this be up for sale soon or is this just a work in progress?
It will be in the market soon (thats what the comunity asumes). Remember you will need a ps5 and the PSVR2 will be not be cheap. stay tuned whenever there are updates.
You can preorder it 15 november!! It'll arrive somewhere in February its 550 dollars

Buying this as soon as it comes out. This is a true evolution in VR!
Hopefully we can get it day one
4K VR!! I am in!! LOVED PSVR!!
Sony is being incredibly misleading with that marketing, its not 4k, its just close to 4k if you combine both screens. Its going to be much more pixelated than 4k.
I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE
This is gonna be the Future 💥!
i'm proud :) after getting a ps5 and loving it, i can't wait to see anything else you guys make
Thanks for supporting VR Sony! I'm no brand loyalist, but I'm happy to see at least one of the big companies continuing support for something I've discovered to be quite amazing earlier this year :D
The day has finally arrived. Mine gets here soon, can't wait!
So excited for this to release!
The field of view eye range is what I've been saying these current VR sets are missing that take you out of the emmersion. I'm happy Sony actually thought of that
110° isn't that much
I always thought the original psvr was very immersive, I would say the resolution was more a problem than field of view but we have both, so everyone happy. Next gen I hope it’s Wireless
Unfortunately 110° is still not going to be enough. There was still be blackness in your visions peripherals. Our vision extends to ~200°.
Too bad it's still 110...the valve is 130 and pimax is 200. Getting close but pretty mid range for affordability
thats like the one thing they didnt improve on.
Bruh this is extremely impressive
I am so hyped about this! Heard it is coming with a Mediatek chipset inside! Expecting smooth performance!
Sony you need to know that these trailers are fricking awesome! I need to get one of these keep it up PlayStation! (Best gaming console eva)
This looks great. gamers from 30 years ago couldn't imagine getting one of these for Christmas as a kid.
Got something for you 🎁
would be cool to see many social and multiplayer games come to psvr2! that would really motivate people to buy the hardware as well
I'm buying regardless so hyped
It’s Sony they don’t care about multiplayer games
@@Sprunkzz Multiplayer has literally been their biggest investment over the last year.
@@martinolsen660 not really if you noticed the amount of single player games released over multiplayer games. They are committed to cod being on the platform but they have nothing in the works.
MP and social aspect is key for VR, just look at Oculus
I'm really excited for the audio and visual experience of the PSVR2
just got one it’s very amazing
This is next-gen VR,4khdr,eye tracking, fov rendering.firewall ultra looks amazing!! Use your eyes to change weapons ,select from menu… I’m defenitly buying this day one.
Its going to be pricey with all that. I’m guessing 600 at least
Bruh in 2019 eye tracking was a thing with the htc eye pro, 4k display was in 2018 with the index VR, but I'll be cool if they had made the ps VR 2 with hand tracking instead of hand detection like he quest 2 but if the price is not more than 1k this VR will be the best for the console
@@blaze1206 yeah i know, but on console plus dualsense tech and 4K,bruh this will change the games we play now.hope all devs jump on this tech.

This looks amazing! The tedious wiring process of the original headset was a pain, and this release brings me back into the market for Virtual Reality gaming. Bravo.
but we cannot see the buttons. so how difficult is it to remember where which button is, like circle square etc?
Is this wireless now ?
@@abcdefgh6121 🤦♂️ Bruh…
@@DissTrackTed bro. i have never used controller of any console. so i cannot know how people remember all those things.

i hope we also get some accessory addon options, like guns, on body vest with haptics that we can feel touch....etc
Am I living in the future?
because that vr is incredible!
Another step towards a new life in VR-verse 🌍
Finally someone is making big changes in the VR game. Back then, it felt like I'm missing out a lot if I used PSVR 1 but now using Meta Quest or Valve Index would feel like missing out compared to PSVR 2
This is nothing. I'm genuinely disappointed. Took way to long for only a couple of features.
@@Purified1k what did you want then? A full on mocap suit for 700$?
The valve index lighthouse system STILL costs more than what occulus or probably psvr2 is offering, this product is meant to bring vr at a semi affordable price.
500$+700$ is FAR better than a 2k$+1k
That's a whole other 1k just to have a slightly better quality of vr immersion.
Now granted pc is infinitely better for vr gaming and the market is actually free unlike Playstation vr, which is very restricted, but that's a whole other argument I'm not getting into...
@@iansantiago6526 Dude this PSVR 2 VR is literally quest 2.5 with the eye adaption feature. They've been working on this for years. There are new headsets in the works today that seem to be way superior over this and quest 2. Like Pico 4. Not to mention there is a mod in development to play all unreal engine games in VR. It's kinda unimpressive with this amount of time. And your probably only gonna be able to use it on PlayStation which would make it even more useless.
@@Purified1k maby you try to build a Vr headset to your needs and only take a few months to build it let alone mass produce it 😂 the eye tracking alone is still very impressive and the new controller features are also very impressive.
@@iansantiago6526 A Oculus Rift is still better
I feel that it could not get better then this❤️👾
Guys please i want a answer. im a resident evil veteran ( resident evil is favorite gamr ) so i have ps4 and i want to upgrade wich is better ps5 with psvr or PC ?
@@HellHawk0 Definitely the PS5 with this VR2 and the reason is not only because the tech is better, it's because of the games. Sony is known for having amazing games on their console that are exclusive and that's the biggest reason people are excited!
They know the games will deliver.
PCVR is great but the titles are unfortunately lacking outside of the big hitter Half-Life Alx. You'll surely get Alx (I'm 99% sure sony and Valve have been talking) quality games and better as time goes on.
Definitely looking to get this although I’ve never even tried VR. Looks awesome I only wish they will release it in black (or maybe another colour) but I assume they’ll only sell white ones.
The future of gaming.
4k HDR on VR sounds insane, been thinking of getting the oculus 2 but this might’ve changed my mind. Exciting.
The PSVR2 is far ahead the Quest 2 in many ways actually.
4k HDR OLEd vs LCD 1800p no HDR
The haptics, adaptive triggers, 3D audio, halo strap and overall comfort, eye tracking, foveated rendering
The power of PS5 and quality of games especially exclusives.
The only advantage for Quest 2 is that it is standalone. Even though that makes alot of strong comprimizes
@@thesherlockhokage3046 thanks for the stats. I hadn’t checked, that’s honestly a huge difference. Just waiting to see what games are offered but this definitely seems like it’ll take over the whole market of VR.
@@lonestarrarchived9987 Yes. PSVR2 can be a game changer if done right.
@@thesherlockhokage3046 - Q2 also has PCVR for existing titles, unless I missed the announcement that the PSVR2 can work with a gaming PC.
@@rcbif101 I will send a full comment I sent in another section
PSVR2 is far above Quest 2 in many ways.
4K HDR OLED vs LCD no HDR 1800p
Eye tracking, foveated rendering, 3D audio, overall comfort and halo strap, haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, high quality VR games that rival PC VR then exclusives.
Quest 2 being standalone has a very big weakness too. Games look like ps2-ps3 era at best. PS5 will makes PSVR2 on a different level
And for Quest 2 to do so, it needs to be connected to a high end PC which costs more than 1000$. And that will give compressed data and high latency too.
So PSVR2 is the best option for deep gaming. Quest2 is for social media
the evolution that playstation has had in relation to other video game companies is really fantastic like not even xbox will be able to reach the level of playstation
This looks amazing, if it has an option to move individual fingers with a sensor or tracker, it would be cool
growing up in the mid 90's starting with the snes, GB Color etc. I just keep imagining me showing this to myself when I was a kid. As a kid I wouldve been in awe, amazed at what playstation has in the future I Wouldve been crazy hyped lol "THATS SO FUTURISTIC!"
Best 2D trailer for VR tech I have seen. I guess you learned from Metas trailer for the Quest 2 and improved on it. You just have to love competition, great you are back 🙂

I am absolutely super hyped for this 🙌
Never was THAT interested in VR, but now i'm starting to change my opinion! 😍💙
I need to get this headset sometime especially because of the eye tracking!
I love the fact it's just one wire
I feel like this is going to have a positive impact even for PCVR. We could definitely use haptic feedback as a standard feature regardless of the platform used.
bro, it is unlikely that we will ever see Vr with feedback in Vr controllers on the PC. Sony patented feedback in triggers, now only they can do it 😥.
Nooooo!
This does not prevent some cool people from developing a program for connecting Psvr2 controllers to PC 😁
@@Young69Liar this just means they will have to pay sony to use this feature, valve can afford it, others probably not.
@@Young69Liar That's just in triggers though. At least, in the future, if companies start producing haptic gloves as the new controller in VR, then that'll be a separate technology
I really really really want Eye tracking and HDR. Its the only thing missing from the Index.
I wasn't convinced before, but this capability presentation has changed my mind. I especially like the idea of eye-tracking and hope that more than a few titles actually make use of it.
They are going to have to pretty much
@@160sharp You say that, but think about how many titles on the PS4 or PS5 actually use the track pad on the controller for anything other than a glorified select button.
@@didjargo I’m specifically talking about the eye tracking
@@160sharp that's what I was talking about too. Sony has come up with innovative control features before but if developers do not design their games to utilize it, then it goes to waste.
