This episode standout one is the round 19:36... in a very Slovakia/Hungary looking area. They go South Africa, realize they are horribly wrong and start going for Bolivia. The depressed "Or Europe..." is gold

Romanian is a Romance language. It looks a lot more like Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French than it does Cyrillic (Russian looking language). Only Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Kyrgyzstan speak Cyrillic in the game.
Mongolia also has cyrillic on signs!

HOW TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MALAYSIA, INDONESIA AND PHILIPPINES (the trifecta) USING LANGUAGES
-Philippines were colonized by Spanish and Americans so you will see signs in Malay (native language) as well as Spanish and English
-Malaysia and Indonesia also have English but DO NOT have Spanish. They are also majority Muslim countries so both Malaysia and Indonesia have Arabic script in addition to Malay/English on a lot of signs
-Malaysia also has Chinese characters on street signs especially in big cities
Another fun fact: idk what this is about but in the Philippines, Mayor of a city is a big-time job so people go really hard in mayoral races. For this reason you will see a TON of random posters with pictures of people running for mayor, in big cities and in the middle of nowhere. Once you notice it you will not be able to un-notice it lol.
If the timer is making it more fun for you guys than so be it, but the vibe is a little off when it becomes such a big part of the game. If these "challenges" and timers are making it more interesting for you then great, but otherwise I don't think it's adding much.
Getting constantly reminded of basically when the video is going to end is like watching a movie with the runtime showing.

You guys are playing the distance game soooo wrong. You don't want to just throw a guess out quickly, that doesn't help you. By doing that, you're wasting a guess when you need to correct. Search around and try to find where you are, then guess. Then adjust based on how far you are from everyone else wen you need to. The reason you lost at 26:47 is because you used all your guesses and you were last.

it’s a museum dedicated to the Nuclear bomb and its aftermath. If you go across the river there’s a building that survived the blast and is still standing.
One of the best parts in Geoguessr is when you spawn and within a few seconds know exactly where it is just because of something in your life, especially when you are playing distance.
They make little beds for cell phones so you can tuck them in while you're focusing or sleeping... Just sayin 🤣
One strategy I think you guys could use is noticing how many people have successfully gone through quickly, which makes it more likely to be a bigger, more populous country, like Ukraine vs Lith for example.
