What a ride this has been. Instincts, Driver, Chimes, and Flag Guy - truly iconic. We also saw democracy in its purest, truest form with the passing of the timekeeping addendum. Whatever these guys watch/play next, we can only hope it reaches the dizzying heights that the Geogeussr Challenge did.

if you fail a challenge twice you gave to go back up to previous level (back to 20 min challenge)
Then if they win it in 5 minutes on the 20 minute challenge they have to do it again?

A GeoTip for the GeoGuys... use the compass in the lower left corner (and the shadows on the ground) to figure out if you are in the northern or southern hemisphere. Good luck... love the content.

Double holey poles is nearly 100% Poland.
Nigeria will always have a follow car for security purposes, usually the White Toyota SUV you guys saw in your round since it was Lagos. Nigerian follow car is a solid hint for future rounds, not that you guys need it given the W, congrats boys!

Jimmy is just better and better on instincts, Jake a little down but driving well as always, Zach with some good positive vibes, and Matty making sure the random guesses were reasonable (that Nigeria pull was clutch)
When jimmy said “feels more like Bangladesh”, I thought the other dude was gonna guess it (idk why he guessed Myanmar after guessing India)
My wife is Singaporean, and the amount of frustration she expresses while you try to find it every time gives me all the energy I need for the week
Singapore is great; you could easily argue best food on earth. Gum is illegal but no death for that. No 4 PM curfew. Jack fruit and durian do fall from trees occasionally resulting in death of passerby, but much much more durian and jack fruit is grown in other south East Asian countries.
They play Takraw there which is an S tier niche sport.
Also rated one of the best places in the world to do business despite their somewhat authoritarian social laws

I wonder if "people left" isn't creating the urgency that is needed at that point. Should it be changed to "spots left" so that we all know that chances to advance are running low? I know the difference is only one, but even so...

Gotta be honest, I think the rule committee got this one wrong. Those Geo God Guys have proven to themselves and their fans that they are capable of winning a game with way less time (and on their first attempt). This new rule is a crutch and doesn't hold them to the standards they are capable of. I plead with the committee to reconsider their decision. At the very least, if you have stoppage time, you can't also have the bonus round.

well the thing is, now they can do lower and lower time limits. Without the stoppage time, guessing quickly and getting it right counts for nothing. If you ever wanna see 1 minute geoguesser challenge than this is the only way
My proposed rule change is that they have to make it to the finals or semi-finals to earn the bonus round at the end
Think you need to do the No movement challenge. Seen some doing that and it seems impossible. This would be pure Jimmy instincts though

Yes Distance is the more pure way to play imo. None of the "just over the border" bs and rewards accuracy in larger countries. But harder to play by committee probably
@@Toogs Distance games were underrated. I think they'd be MUCH better at it now that they've learned how to play by country better now.
Not a fan of the new rules. You did it 60,50,40,30, and 20 minutes under the old rules. Sure 10 is next to impossible. But you could have done it. It wont mean as much to us faithful watchers when you win with the new rules.

I think "can we get 2 wins in 60 minutes" is the logical next start off in the series.

I don’t like this rule, because waiting for other players is a part of the challenge. This makes it a little less difficult, which then makes it a little less impressive when you complete it.
But it also is an incentive to guess the country faster so it only helps if they are able to get it right away which is a skill thing
28:28 Thailand uses more of a “squiggly language”. Similar to Cambodia and Sri Lanka. Bangladesh and India (mostly) use what I call “line” language (line on top). Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia use Latin script. Also Honduras isn’t in the game

Agree with the comments that if stoppage time is accepted as a rule full-time, then the bonus round needs to be done away with, as stoppage time already allows for more rounds to be played

Geoguessr tips for you guys, you know its Kenya if the car has a snorkel on it. You know its Mongolia if the top of the car has camping gear and there's a Cyrillic language around. Iceland is black rock and super green tall plateaus. Eswatini and Lesotho are also way more common than South Africa! Hope those help!

That funny Russian language is Cyrillic. Only a few countries use that writing form, but the big 3 are Russia, Ukraine, and Bulgaria. Its one of those countries until proven otherwise. If those have been ruled out then you have to guess by region. If it looks Balkan/Mediterranean then your choices are North Macedonia, montenegro, or Serbia. If if looks arid and dry it is Kyrgyz Republic or Mongolia.

great win, but Jake still just a liiiiittle slow on the clicks. Can't sit around for 15 seconds when there is only one open spot left, and when DR and Ecuodor were wrong 50/50 guesses you gotta just go to the map and look at what is close to those countries
To the rules committee I propose a major change. When the 10 minute challenge is complete, do you move to zero time? That would be a two round episode under current rules. Time pausing is taking away from the game. My proposal is "three strikes" for the future of the game. This would allow the "god's" to focus on the match and allow ample time to fill an episode.
