Matty getting more and more salty about bad guesses as this series goes on is never not funny.

I love that the last episode, they went 2/4 and then in this one they start by saying “we’re unbeatable. What if we sweep again”. 😂😂
No, they went 2/3 after the practice round. If they lose the first game obviously they're not in the zone yet and needed the practice round. If they win the first game, obviously no practice round was needed and the round counts towards the series. Those GeoGod Guys have won every series fair and square, and are therefore literally undefeated. They don't make the rules. It's just facts.

There was meta data in that Taiwan location that helped the opponent guess real fast. The bottom area of the light or utility poles (can't remember which) had a bumble bee pattern yellow & black stripes. That type of identification helps these Geoguessr pros guess super fast. Geoguessr pros love meta data from the Google Maps cars, utility poles, & bollards/road signs.

BTW, I love all of your Geoguessr videos. I think your strategy is a solid one, but I do miss when you guys were trying to be good. Watching all 4 of you become better & better at this game has been a delight.
Their "go on instinct" strategy is fine if that's what they enjoy. But they guess so quickly on basically nothing its almost random at times. It's almost like playing in "no moving" mode. People do that but you generally need to be really really good to pull it off. As long as they have contempt for the minutiae (sky rifts, sun position, etc) they'll never win very often or advance very far.

It's absurd how yall got pretty decent at the game over the past few months, and then decided to completely give up on trying at all and make entirely arbitrary guesses every round. You might as well be throwing darts most of the time lol, it's hard to get invested when you can't be bothered to try
Couldn't agree more. Loved seeing their improvement at first. But now, at best it just seems lazy. At worst it seems like they have contempt for the minutiae that is required to become good. But hey if that's what you enjoy that's fine. Just not very enjoyable to watch.
Would like to see you guys go back to the original modes

I’ve never played but these geoguesser vids are my jam. I’m not entirely sure what it means but all the other geoguessers on CZcams always know Japan because of “low cam.” Sounds like something Matty needs to research and be on the ready for.

@@SB5v i mean at most the sun only tells you what hemisphere you’re on, and half the time it tells you nothing at all. if anything, URL hunting is being more of a nerd
5:47 You guys haven't tried looking at the sun?? It's great. You get these cool colourful spots in your vision for a while afterwards. 8/10 experience overall. Do recommend.
If you ever want to feel humble just watch rainbolt play Geoguessr. He does this .01 seconds guesses and its insane
Or watch some of the gods play... rainbolt is like watching someone who is a regular starter on pro team play. Players like Stique are like watching the league MVP play.

wish these guys would try to pay attention to obvious clues instead of relying on other people to point out flags which they haven't memorized or other clues which they could use to know the country... just seems like they're playing as a disorganized team and when they win or happen to guess correct, they feel like they're the best, and congratulate themselves.... but most of the time have no idea... they'll probably block my comment for hating on them...
Yall should try to turn down the game music next time. It almost should have had its own seat, it was so present.
