@@geraleco It shouldn't. It was unfair, but the play was stopped by the ref at an earlier point. At that point, Madrid obviously doesn't defend with the same intensity. Lunin doesn't attempt to stop the shot either. Could it have ended in goal? Yes. Would it have played out differently hadn't the ref blown the whistle? Probably, including the non trivial chance of the play not ending with Bayern's goal. It is certainly unfair, but there was no "goal".

I think Jupp Heynckes should get more recognition for what he has done for Real. He won the CL for Real for the first time in 32 years in 1998. That's as long a drought as Red Star Belgrade currently have in the CL. 32 years without a CL title for Real is unthinkable these days. But Heynckes won Real's 7th CL title after 32 years of waiting. In those 32 years before Heynckes arrived, Real played no part in the premier club competition. In fact, from 1966 to 1997 they only reached the CL final once, in 1981, which they lost. In the same period, one of three Dutch clubs reached the final 8 times. 5 different Italian teams reached the final 15 times in those 32 years. In addition, one Greek, one Swedish, one Belgian, one Serbian and twice a Scottish and twice a Romanian team reached the CL final during this period. As well as four different German teams 9 times in the final during this period. 6 different English teams a total of 10 times in the final in that time. 2 Portuguese teams 3 times in the final in that time. 3 times Barca and 1 time Atletico in the final. 2 French teams 3 finals in the time. In 1998, Heynckes brought Real out of obscurity after 32 years in the most important competition. He also won Bayern's first treble and holds the Bundesliga points record ahead of Guardiola and Xabi.

The reason for not being able to review VAR after whistle is "VAR was implemented to help referee before making decision". Referee blowed the whistle instantly as his linesman raised the flag, so according to the rules, ref made a decision so VAR don't have to review anything. If ref would allow game to progress for few seconds, VAR would be able to intervene. Interesting thing is after the game said linesman walked over to De Ligt and apologized for making too quick decision, not bad decision, but too quick.

So in my opinion linesman error caused ref error. That's all i'm saying but it doesnt matter to be honest, game ended how it ended. Both teams had their chances. Only thing we can do is to hope that refs learn from this mistake.

Now, when using VAR, he is supposed to wait with his decision and let the attackers finish the attack. About the ref whistle... I think the assistant have a button he pushes that give a signal in the refs ear so he automatically whistles when he hears that.

Kane had to be taken off. He had problems with his back and there was no way around it. There is no point playing a player that is not fitt anymore. Davies has played up front and not as a second defender on the side. So no, i have to disagree with you on that. It wasn't Bayerns misstake.
In the end what failed Bayern was two problems. So let's not overblame the Ref. Bayern had their chance to decide that game and they did not take it.
At first: 3 big individual mistakes caused 3 out of 4 goals Bayern conseeded. 2 in München. 1 in Madrid. They had Real mostly under control at home and where defensivly strong in Madrid. You can't just throw that away, in such a game. Müller said before the game that milimeters decide such matches. And that happend 3 little short moments of players who otherwise played well.
Second: Bayern exploited Reals misstakes and the good sitiuations they created themself not well enough. Bayern HAS to score 3 goals at home. If you play like that you have to win it at that stage. Same goes for the game in Madrid. There where many chances where they missed one pass to create massive chances or to score.
If you ad that up Bayern just about fell short in the deciding moments even with two great performances.
