I think your fingering weight Tolsta looks great on you! And I love working with Mondim. It is such a beautiful yarn, and works up beautifully! I appreciate you sharing your experience with burnout. It is something a lot of us have to be aware of. I do find that making (knitting) helps my MH a lot. Thank you for this episode. 💛
Thank you so much for your kind comment, your words mean a lot to me ❤☺ The comments of my Tolsta definitely help me see it more positively and I'm starting to like it more 😄 And I really appreciate your comment about the burnout talk. It's something that is starting to be so commen in this day and age but there is still not a lot of info about prevention or just about it in general I feel like. So I really appreciate that from you ❤
I really love the colors that you're working with! Especially the pink/red top ofcourse but also the green and grey socks! It would look great on you in a sweater or top! ❤
The tulsa tees are soo cute! For the elastic on the neck, if you still want to change it, i found a video on pinterest where they crocheted some elastic thread, like thick sewing thread size onto the back of each rib on the neck band. I think they did like 3 rows on spaced out on the band. I tried this for the top of my summer secret crop and it worked so well! I am going to be sweater knitting in summer too lol! I am casting on an autumn themed sweater, and it will also be my vacation knitting/roadtrip knitting this august! I am making the redmoon sweater, in orange and black, so very exited to cast on.
Ah thank you so much and thank you for that tip!! 😄❤️ it’s just great right, when fall comes we will already have a new sweater 🤩 the Redmond looks really cool. Do you already know in what colors you want to make it?
Tower of Dawn took me a very long time to get through 😅 But it definitely picked up by the end. I'm quite tempted by the Tolsta tee so I appreciate your thoughts on it!
Ah same here? Luckily I’m doing the tandem read so I won’t have to read the same time period twice haha. Really curious to see where the story will take me. Also yes the tolsta is really nice. Definitely the dk version is just a really nice and quick knit. Perfect when you don’t want to work months on one thing 😄❤️
Idk what you're worried about with your 2nd tolsta not suiting you - as soon as you put it on I just, "😮🤩" It looks so good on you!! I really love it. Also the pooling is not noticeable unless pointed out, especially to non-knitters. PS most podcasters I speed up the playback speed on the video because they talk too slow, so I appreciate your fast talking 😅
Hahah you’re the best Amanda 🥰🥰 that makes me feel better about the one already!! Hahah and you’re definitely in luck with me talking fast then as you know 😜
I am knitting the salty days pattern right now. I am enjoying the process but I think I am going to hate the final result. I am plus size with a large bust and I just don’t think the pattern is great for plus size. I don’t follow patterns usually so I don’t know if this is a common issue but the larger sizes just seem to have more circumference but no extra length. I added 6 extra rows of ribbing at the top and have finished the cables and the front hasn’t cleared the apex of my bust yet. On all the pictures I’ve seen the cables start at the apex of the bust. I am very concerned it isnt going to fit.

Hi Emily, oh my that indeed sounds like it wasn’t designed/graded that wel. What a bummer to hear. Do you think there is any way to save it?
