Still waiting for the name of the yarn you have been talking about for 17 .minutes now. I hope you tell us. It's hard to get lots of the yarns used in the overseas podcasts in the United States which is very frustrating. I wish alternate suggestions were included for all the patterns featured.😢

I love all your sweater projects! I am currently knitting a Sea Glass Tee, an Old Beat sweater, and a So Basic Raglan sweater for my husband. Puppy energy is a huge thing. Our Great Pyrenees puppy finally just turned 1 and I feel like we turned a corner in terms of behavior. They are adorable but so much work. lol

Hi girl! I still can't believe that we're both making the Salty days sweater in the summer time, and at the same moment😂 it's just too good of a pattern to wait for the "right" weather to make isn't it? I definitely agree with you, I would have liked a lil bit more guidance for picking up stitches, since it's quite difficult to figure out, especially for the sleeves, and it takes a couple tries (or four or six in my case😅) But it's my one and only complaint about the pattern so far since it's a great design and very well explained in my opinion. I'm making mine in Drops Lima, in just the white color, but I made a rookie mistake with it😅 soooo after the midblock I left it flat to dry in the sunlight... well, the color faded (of course it did silly me!) and now the front is like a warm white, leaning almost beigey while the back is the original neutral white. Well it is what it is, and all I have to do now is finishing the sleeves and than washing and putting the sweater back under the sunlight, with the back facing up this time, hoping that the color will uniform (right now you can see the color difference quite clearly on the shoulders and it's not really nice 😅😅)

Kutova kika has a video in where she teaches how you should pick up stitches if it isn’t specified. It is really nice! I never struggle now anymore Also I hope your sleeves still fit if it is a smaller size then recommended. They are quite fitted normally already

This purple yarn fits you very well, your face looks really fresh 🙂 and the color is BEAUTIFUL! and when it comes to the salty days sweater, it grows A LOT - I have made one (and frogged it) and it turned out way too big!

I agree with you about Dark Matter, the ending was a bit anticlimactic compared to the rest of the series. I so badly wanted to say that on your last podcast, but wanted to not give you my opinion before you watched it!! The word you were searching for is classifies. Douglas Adams is a bit of an acquired taste, I think. I love the Hitchhikers series, but understand it's not for everyone. Tonight I'm knitting a dishcloth because I have zero brain power, but hope to cast on for a Tolsta tank tomorrow or Monday.

Lovely episode, your Barberoe top turned out AMAZING and making it with the undyed version of Lovely Linen was also a great idea cause you can always dye it a color you love later on (even though I think it's an adorable neutral as it is). All the summer tonals are so beautiful but I was in love with the buttery yellow, I know that it costed you quite a lot of troubles but let me tell you it was worth it in the end😍 (I know the preorder closed tonight, I really hope the collection went well, you're doing and amazing job here and you deserve it!)

Mocht je op een gegeven moment wol over hebben die je echt niet meer gebruikt en ook niet bij de kringloop wil doen omdat het net te weinig is: Ik doneer mijn wol restjes (bijvoorbeeld wat ik over heb na een paar sokken) aan de dierenambulance hier in Alphen aan den Rijn. Zij maken er vogelnestjes van om de zieke vogels die ze redden op te vangen. Misschien dat ze ook zo'n initiatief hebben bij jou in de buurt? Het heeft mij erg geholpen te destashen als je weet dat het een goed doel heeft😊

Hey Fem😊 you're 100% right, loss is so hard and the pain can continue and surprise us when we least expect it (I confess I also got teary towards the end of the video, but it's okay, I'm a very empathetic person and as I told you on Instagram, I sadly know that kind of pain quite well❤) But however, I also think this losses make us appreciate the love of our dogs even more, you with your Gussje (I hope the spelling is correct😅) and me with my Nina. On a more positive note, I finished the top I was working and now I'm continuing working on my Summer League cutoff by two of wands, it's going so fast!🎉

My Anker summer top is in bamboo as well. I did a crochet cast on, but you can also slip stitch around the neckline and that helps keep it from stretching. I’ve done that with another top and it worked great.

I've msde the Hermione socks, they were my first socks , and I love them, I highly recommend the pattern. I'm currently working on a Corran cardigan by Rebecca Clow, and a bandana to use up a ball of very pretty cotton I have left from a project xx

For the Elisabeth - a lovely autumn/brick red (a few shades lighter OR darker than your hair, just as long as there is enough contrast between the blouse and your hair!) or a deep plum. 😍 It's hard to tell if your skin tone is warm/neutral/cool in this video (the lighting is not natural so it's hard to tell?) but I think you should lean more towards neutral, whichever color you end up choosing!

Out of curiosity, do you ever do samples sales? I would love to buy one off skeins that are dye tests or something similar as I make a lot of baby / childrens items, I don't always need adult sweater quantity but it's so fun to have something unique and beautiful :)

Your tolsta tee is beautiful, I love the colors! It reminds me of seashells! I also have a preference for more snug necklines, the wider ones show my bra straps and slide around and totally bug me. I have had good success with adding in some elastic to my necklines to bring them up higher, it is very quick and easy to do. Hugs to you, the loss of a pet is one of the most painful experiences. He sounds like a very well loved and special little soul.

Hey Fem, I also have pain in my wrists and hand while knitting (too much) sadly, so you are not alone! for the last year and a half I had not knitted at all.. even picking up my phone was too hard :( Now it's much better and I can knit bit by bit now, but yeah it is really frustrating so just wanted to tell you because it's not weird at all! Even some older ladies in the train told be before I got that, that I should be careful with knitting too much ;)🥰
