Man those 1st gen camaro’s are beautiful. Love those cars
IAM finally happy to see something different under the hood this is the first straight six I have seen under a Camaro hood there still a few of us that like four and six cylinders still
A 67 Rallye Sport, with a straight 6, power steering and manual drum brakes. Gotta love those old options sheets...
That's amazing you found a pretty much all together Camaro with an inline 6 in it. Kudos.
Hatiko music....
NICE FIND, GOOD LUCK. KEEP US UPDATED
It takes a true visionary to see a future in that car
Ive never watched anyone power wash a car for twenty minutes, but that American icon deserved the time...to bad it’s not like those times today
Cool old Camaro. I honestly didn't know they offered the RS package on a 6 cylinder car. It must be pretty rare as Camaro's go. Definitely a keeper!
1967davethewave, It’s a special order car...
They're rare
Rs is a trim package and could be had with any other options.
I, m restoring a1974 Buick Apollo 6 cylinder 250 about 80 percent done, great motor,, lots of power..
@@amadortorres3116 I had an '81 full size K5 4X4 Chevy Blazer with a 250 and a 4 speed. I was towing an '87 Firebird plus all my worldly possessions through the Blue Ridge Mtns. of Tennessee back in '89. I was passing 18 wheelers going up with no problems. That 250 was way more powerful than I expected. And the old Blazer would knock down 18 mpg when not loaded. Apollo's are really cool and yet seldom seen in this day and age. Awesome and good luck!
The old girl needs some TLC but overall,a nice car to have. My father had a blue one. I always liked that car.
Wow now That just takes Patina to an entirely other level!!!!
Nice , looks so beautiful just like that, 98% still original.!!!
Hi KFLY, what an awesome transformation. Thanks for giving the old girl new life!
I had a 67' Camaro with an Inline 250 - 6 cylinder! It didn't have the Hide away headlights. I loved that car! I wish I still had it! Good luck with your build. I'm jealous as hell!!!!!!! I'll be watching!!!!!!
I saw this car on craigslist for awhile im glad someone finally took it on and saved it from the field.
Keep us posted on your progress. Beautiful car man! Definitely worth fixing up, that will be one slick ride. Thanks for sharing. JohnG
Wow a 1967 with a straight 6...interesting...you found a diamond in the ruff..my dream car is a 1967 RSS ♥
The thing that makes this car for me! The fact she is still a six cylinder! AWESOME!
@Jay Delancey unless I’m mistaken , I believe it still has “327” badges on it , just an observation .
@@robertsr.249 I saw 250 badges on it. Where did you see 327 badges?
@@robertsr.249 quit being vain and get some glasses Bob. 250 on the fender and under the hood.
I love the old straight sixes, bullet proof and very reliable and easy to work on. Clifford performance and other companies make performance parts for them too.
That was kinda relaxing to watch. Soooooo much potential in that car!!
You should so do Collab with DIY gang...yours can be brought back to life!
Cool mi friend please continus whit tha amasing proyect ...
I am jealous. The car exists. And you have a clean slate to build YOUR car how you want.
What a beautiful find. Wish they lasted like that around here
Is just you and the car ! Pure peace.
Please leave her with the 6 banger. That is a rare car. You should name her "Patina" Best Wishes!
A little love makes all the difference!
It has a really nice patina. Just make it perfect from underneath and keep the top as is!
67 always had that nice shape, 67 firebird was easy to look at to.
I was 11 years old in that thing came out. Keep it original don't change nothing
i feel cleaner after watching this...... THANX :)
Howdy, I ran into your brother at the theater where he works. He turned me on to your channel. Nice 67 your bro's got there.
Awesome and yes it is! Hey, thanks for checking out the channel!
This video is ASMR to me LOL, I AM RELAXED NOW ! 😎
Good wash job looks great
Poor little guy. Left out to rot. Good thing you found him.
Better you than me.. but nice job on the power wash.. I would have used heavy duty foam and soaked for an hour
Oddly satisfying. Thanks.
Bad ass First gen RS! I have a 2013 RS with the V-6! By far my all time favorite car is a Camaro!
Love camaro but they never made a better looking camaro then the thid generation and the first generation hands down not trying to be disrespectful to each their own but these new camaros look like a dam electric car no style at all or anything that says muscle
My first car was a 68 RS convertible 3 speed 327 - hidden headlights- wish I had that car now - my dad bought it new on lot for $2800
SHE PROB lost 20 pounds in just dirt n grime ......AWESOME!!!!!!!!..... i gotta 67 firebird convertible with the orig 6 cylinder still in it.... SMILES FOR MILES :) :) :) HAPPY TRAILS :)
Holy smokes!!!!! Looks brand new!
I've seen really really beautiful cylinder camaros sell at Barrett jackson for a lot less than 20 grand. One I seen lately went for 12. I guess though if you just want a huge and long expensive project my prayers are with you
My dad had a '62 Nova straight 6, 3on the tree. Blew the bottom rad. hose, drove it home easy 'bout 90 mi. New hose in the AM, never knew the difference. God, I wish I had that car. Underdash AC!
After renovation, I love this year...
Seen this vid a while back great find.
It looks very sharp.
I love the fact it's an original six cylinder! Way too many Z-28 clones out there!
I was thinking the same, but if I restored it the six would have to go. Probably a nicely tuned 427 or at the very least a 350.
@@kman-mi7su there's a video on CZcams of a Chevy 292 six cylinder that makes 900 horses to the rear wheels, it's in a 1936 Chevy pickup. Look it up, it runs 9 second quarter miles. Six cylinders make a LOT of power
That 6 with a spreadbore quardrajet an a turbo would dominate over all..so much
Saludos amigo buen trabajo y bonito carro desde Uruapan Mich México
Congratulations on your car. Such a great foundation to build
Need to use Rustoleum "Wipe New"!
Nothings like that new-car-smell!
What a beautiful ol girl. She has potential. My favorite car. 💟💟
I had one with a 6cyl 3 speed it didnt have the rs package . Bought in 1974 didnt have a scratch on it . Drove it all the time.
For that year make it seems like a very solid car great job.
Looks alot better great job keep it up
That cleaned up pretty nice
That body looks solid
Solid best one iv'e seen outside in a long time. :)
Hideaway Headlights.. Sweet!!
One man's junk us another man's treasure
Nice car , love how there is no spoiler on the back just looks sexier without one
Man! What i would give to get that beast running. I love cars and love working on them. This is a jewel. Just dont like to see a bunch of trash inside them. But man i sure would love to work on that one.
Cheers!!
Very nice find
Almost ready for the prom!
As a '68 Firebird owner, I noticed the steering wheel. Much nicer than the Pontiac 'wood' wheel.
So many of the 67 8 and 9 cars have been cannibalized back and forth between them the 67 is actually a one-off from 68 + 69 from the electrical to some of the suspension restored a 67 convertible we made ours a RS SS 350 Auto. At first glance that wings to really get down to know for sure if yours is a 67 the RS package headlights are electrically operated only 68 and 69 are vacuum true tell tell for sure rear shocks on the 67 are both mounted the same way all others are staggered front to rear opposite each side on the rear axle and on the convertible model the trim on the edge of the windshield is also different than the 68 and 69 convertible, I love restoring that car was so satisfying and one many many trophies helped an old dear friend restore it it was a lesson for both of us he has since sold it kind of broke my heart but I wasn't the owner
Beautiful cars!!
I can't believe how fairly solid that car looks for a Washington car the bumpers are practically mint almost
I love the look, keep the patina!
I've been thinking about keeping the patina for a little while. definitely, a shocker to see any 1st gen Camaro nowadays in this state! I have a 69' Camaro that was similar and i recently primered her, everyone was like you should have kept it in the all rust patina.
THAT VIDEO WAS AWESOME!! THERAPEUTIC!!!!! ....SAVE THIS OLD GIRL!!!
LOVE SEEING THIS THING
A coat of clear and Roberts ya Dads brother 👌
Found a 67 that is as bad as mine, Fixed it up for 40 years and still have it. Nice 69 and what is under the cover.
Talk about complete, you got the headlight vacuum hooked up
I thought so too but they are electric?
@@KFLY67 yes the 67s are electric for that year only. 68 69 went to a much more simple and reliable vacuum system.
Those six bangers were great no water or oil and they'd still run all day
Just leave it the way it is looks pretty dam good with its rustic appeal!!!! new rims ,tires and a retro modern interior would seal the deal✌
Good job this car needs to be alive and running well it’s worth it at the end..
fehtbsr
Very good keep moving 👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
Some bodywork and a paint job, that body is pretty straight like those roll rear fenders on those years great job no matter how dirty things get you can always clean em up......Morgan Freeman......
John Harrison I just got the car fired up today. I’ll be making a video soon on this.
I like to see those old one's get resurrected fire it up
I'd clear it just like it is, shelve the I6 and drop in an ls, and wrap some old school aluminum slots in new rubber. My idea of a bad ass ride.🤘
it would be bad ass, but would also be "normal". This one is unique. In this case, I would keep the six...
Nice project car. I envy you bro. Watching the video thinking about what I would do to that car. 👍🏽
thats a straight car
I'm keen to see what you do with it, very cool.
I wouldn't even paint it! It has so much character!
yeah just clear coat it!
Great Job!!
What a find, very nice car
So, your channel about washing abundant old car!!! Good luck
and a pitiful there is no such beautiful car in Brazil .. beautiful beautiful !!
Beautiful car, nice find. Any updates?
250 engine insignia on the fenders, I6 engine with RS package, that’s a cool combination.
James Nasto, Very rare! 😄
I'm trying to guess what type of person would order a Camaro with a 250.. It just couldn't be Gasoline prices because back then you don't wanna know what it was a gallon .. So I'm guessing an older Gent... Me I would have ordered the 396 inch Big Block that you could have ordered it with ..Or hell anyone of the half dozen or so hot little small blocks would have been just fine as well...
@@TheRoguelement it had one lady owner it's hole life. No need to wonder when you watch all the videos..
@@TheRoguelement the 250 was standard and if you were looking for a small economy car they it might have been a good choice. And maybe gas seemed cheap back in '67 compared with today's prices but adjust for inflation it was actually a little more.
@@TheRoguelement lady car
For the age and where it was the body is pretty damn good..mostly surface rust..from what we can see...never know once you open it up..but good find a diamond in the rough
Surface rust? Hahahaha
First time I've seen one with a straight 6
Nice solid car
Beautiful!
I hand washed my 70 Chevelle with soapy SOS pads and it removed the rust & restored the paint finish. You could clear coat to protect the patina finish
Beautiful patina
Beautiful car and video....please , keep it original
Nice....hope u restore it..Real Muscle Car..American Made
He's alive he alive again (wow) keep him going. I can not nether get one of those old Camaro the only thing l have a chance I have a lot lots of hotwheels camaro cars. maybe I can glued together to got one. LOL 😄😃 🚘 and good luck
Pretty solid vehicle!
The '67s will always be the nicest first generation Camaros.
They're nice, but I'm partial to the 69's.
That's cool it has 2 of the original hubcaps on it still with the 6 cyl the dash looks good too that car has fixer up written all over it
67 my favorite year
