I JUST bought a 67 Camaro for $500, a 68 Camaro factory V8 for $1,200, a 68 Firebird for $1,300 and a 69 Firebird for $500 and a 70 Chevelle for $1,300. Then I realize time flies by because that was 15 years ago.
THE GUY HAS A GOLDMINE!! ALL OF THOSE CARS NEED TO BE SAVED!! ....I'M HAPPY TO SEE THEM BEING SOLD TO SOMEONE THAT WILL BRING THEM BACK TO LIFE!!
REMBRANTTUBE Thanks, yes I’m saving this one!
@@KFLY67 I'M PROUD OF YOU! DON'T LISTEN TO THE HATERS!! ...WHAT YOU'RE DOING IS AWESOME!! SAVE AS MANY AS YOU CAN! KEEP THE VIDEO'S COMING!!
Thank God you saved this one
Cool story on it .thanks for posting. I had a 67 power glide. Fold down rear seat
It kills me that these cars r still out there rotting and these owners want outrageous prices for them
For the yellow hardtop one I would have give them 10 000
The minute they find out someone wants them they want crazy 💰....but before the cars were rotting away.
The minute they find out someone wants them they want crazy 💰....but before the cars were rotting away.
So many of them are worth saving. Such a waste leaving them to rot like that
zachary watters the guys a hoarder
He probably hasn't done shit with any of them. I have experience because my dad was the same way bitchen cars sitting in the yard Hez gone RIP dad...and now it all laying in my the hands of my step mom who'd like to see them hauled to the dump . Just to clean up the yard. Nothing I can do. :(::
I purchased my 67 for $7,000. Significantly in better shape then the ones you looked at. You my friend have a lot of work to do, but then the journey is great therapy. Take time off and don’t get frustrated, I would hate to see all that work to end up on Craigslist in a year or so. Good luck and get the wife involved, a project together.......awsome😎
ya, I like work.
nice to meet you yesterday keep collecting those parts they are cool cars definatly worth restoring
There is heaven on earth!
Got my 68 ss.rs. in 1978 . It had 42,000 miles one owner. I was 16 years old. My wonderful father got it for me. God Bless you Daddy . I miss you so much. Right now my Indian name is many years.
Many tears

I love junk yard gold!!! Lots of fun wondering thru
I've had three nice 60s camaros one was a yenko and almost mint I got each one almost perfect when I got them for less than ten grand each and two of them where one owner and all three where numbers matching with under 65,000 miles
Usually when you see these rare cars their restored. I would get this car drivable and cleaned up and drive it just as it is!! That is something you don't see every day. Name it the Rustero!!
Awesome car
Breaks my heart see them rot away
Really cool finds. I just pulled a 67 Cougar out of a field on my channel. Hope to see some videos of these driving one day.
You lucky dog. What a score
nice find ,stright 5 its preety rare now ,but this its a stright 6 ,will be nice too see it restored
as soon as it is possible ,and congrats with a nice /cool shopping :)
Nice finds! I've been trying to find a 69 for a while, but they just don't exist anymore around where I am. Still got my 85RS and although its not worth much I'm going to keep it as long as I can
I had a 85 iroc Z once, fast car!
69 Z28 is my favorite car in the entire world.
Same here.....
Best of luck on the resto!
thank you !
sweet junkyard
Geez! A straight six! Sweet!
kinda rare option dont ya think?
@@KFLY67 do you have the contact number for this junkyard? Thanks
So that one 69 has an RS style rear, but a standard front without hideaway headlights? And X11 doesn't really mean anything. X11 cars came with 6 bangers in them as well as possibly a big block. Most X11 cars weren't even that special, just trim options. That's according to camaros.org and other sites and forums. And I'm from WA. Gonna have to make a trip to this yard sometime just to check stuff out. Projects, but cool cars.
Hey, what do you guys think? Did I pay too much for the car, or did I find the deal of a lifetime?
YOU DID A GREAT JOB! ...IT'S FUN TO SAVE THEM!! ....THEY NEED TO BE SAVED!!
Yes, you paid a lot, but the time you spend on creating your own vehicle and once it's on the road is priceless. 5hanks for posting the video
Have 1968 Camaro Race car! Wery Nice!!
Lucky that rear window didn't pop out at speed while towing....(experienced). I answered a one line ad, in a once a week newspaper, in 1984, for a 67 Camaro. Turned out to be a 68, built in late 67, so tagged and registered as such for decades. A 250 six, console 3 speed manual. No trunk floor. Washed Sequoia Green paint with surface patina, and standard black interior. AM radio and console as options. Added 15 x 7 rally wheels with offset for a disc brake Caprice, and tires...and drove good distances for years to shows as reproduction parts industry was just taking off. Paid $300 for it. Still sitting now within a few blocks of where I bought it. As washed, I added a rear spoiler, and gas. Good luck with this one. It MAY have a fold down rear seat option, in deluxe interior.
Интересно. Интересные машины. Интересный будет проект.
Cool can't wait to see it Dunn.
I have a 67i bought in 73 with 85,00 miles on the clock now it has 110,00 on the same clock,
I paid a little less 775.00 total
It's been in the garage for 35 years in a mothball state in CA
It is almost new. 327 aluminum power glide not RS or SS.
Should have bought a 69 z28
But one of those would have cost 1,500.00 - 2,000.00
That same year I bought a 65
Convertible GT mustang 389
Auto not running for 200.00
From a friend of mine.
And same year a 1971 AMX
401 with a fork flight Auto
Posi rear end for 1,500.00
Had 43,000 miles, sob ran hard
Mark Donohue signed bought from a girl who's father was a
Service manager for a AMC
Dealership . Camaro is going to be on the road again.
3 car's in my sophomore year.
Can't wait to see your wife's car on the road.
I don't know what you paid for those cars. You kind of made a point of not telling. But you know you can get brand new Dynacorn Camaros for $13,500. $200 for a brand new front fender etc. But I'm an old man. I've breathed enough rust dust and bondo dust and weird fumes to last me a lifetime. Good luck with your Camaros.
Dang wish you would have shown more of those trans ams they were in great condition from the looks of it, but good luck on the project
Sure! Maybe next time I'm there!
No way I’d haul that on a dolly
Love to have them wheels off the convertible
Nice score I wish I had not gotten rid of my 69 RS..
Those are really cool cars, the one I picked up in the video is a good solid roller project. Im going to take my time with it and do it right. will post updates in the future.
i liked the video but paid way WAY to much for it,would of left it sit unless he was selling it for 3.500
How much did he pay? I missed it I guess. I just bought one for $10k but all the work has been done to it and just needs to be painted and put back together! New wheels new parts new everything included. RS. 1967
Would’ve grabbed that yellow firebird myself tho
You paid all that money, went all that way [4 hours from where you live], and they didn't throw in another steering wheel assembly?
He did throw in another steering column.
I wish places like this would at least invest in car covers.
better be looking at the frame
So where in Washington is this exactly?
Nicest rust buckets ive seen in a minet ya
your welcome!
if that 71 Chevelle was missing the split turn signals and you weren't Shure if it was 71 or 72 you could look at the inside mirror if it's mounted to the roof it's a 71 if it's glued to the windshield it's a 72 I drove a 71 Chevelle for 7 year's back in the good ol days
I would have gotten both of the two 69 Firebirds for 10 grand at Camaros were junk
i haul cars off like this for free a rancher just had me haul off 79 short wide 4x4 been parked in a shop runnung and drives like new and a 38 foot motor home with a 454 stroker in it but it is really nice and 2 camero's and the other cars had rust so we scrap them i get deals like this all the time and i live in oregon is the funny part
ps u should see the 68 chevy pu i got so far i have about 1300 in it perfect body no digs full chrome factory paint needs paint pulled the rebuilt 327 give it to my kid put in a 454 stroker with 6000 miles on it got the motor and trans for free and the truck drives nice and tight the motor mounts were 300 for the set up or i would have 1000 in it
ID hate to see what they wanted for one of those 55s .if you paid that much for one of those camros
How much for those 500 hundred dollar cars?
Anthony Collica lmfao right. Good potential but a lot of money to invest
Never mind Washington lol that's clear Cross country
IF I WEEE TO HIT THE LOTTERY AND I FOUND THIESE CARS I WOULD BUY THEM AND HAVE THE WORKS DONE TO THEM.
That's a fold down rear seat
👍🏽💪🏽👍🏽💪🏽
👍👋👋👋
10 k by the time its done you need to ask 100k for it which isn’t practical they prob got it at an estate auction for 700.00 or less. rather have the chevelle
Lots Of People Commenting On Cost. We've ALL Made Purchases With Our Hearts Over Minds & There Are Much Worse Things We Can Spend Our Money On, Like Booze, Cigs, Drugs & Strippers!!
Yessir I have a firebird I did that with. Now I'm in so deep I have to keep it.
What state are you in?
I want the two 69 firebirds!
One of those was a 400..
2:52 nothing "kinda" about it--it has definitely been sitting out.
Such a shame rust held together with holes. Why not disclose the location to try to save some others?
Hope that hood stayed latched.
Were in Seattle
Junk, shoulda told him to shove it for those prices. Back in the 80-90’s there was a camaro hoarder like this in La. ,everyone hated the guy.
One at2:15 was 4spd car
Wheres that yard at I seen a 65 chevelle I would like to know about
Good luck with that shit 🤣
that old carpet is moss....
Where is this place
At 14:35 that 67 rs was rare straight 6 .
I agree!, it's rare to see an RS with that option.
Yep! I've been looking for one with a straight six. Nice...
You mean- " it is Rare- to find an rs option, on a 6 cylinder Camaro..??😎
Where is this at
Where are thay located at..
People didn't realize what they had. ..i would have kept them inside a shop...that way they stay in mint condition......plus back then you paid what.....3 thousand dollars...now they are about 40 thousand dollars and up.....but to me...I like the older bodystil better.....looks more like a camaro....
We need rebuild this car
Any of these cars for sale? I'm interested in any of them. Thanks
are anny of these still available and location PLEASE
unless you plan to do all the work yourself not worth fixing these cars much more easy to buy a restored one like i did
I plan to do all the work!
I’m almost finished with one just as bad! I hope to post it soon on you tube to show all the work. It’s been fun.
Perfectly worded title. Junk!
Its the eye of the beholder! some peoples junk is another man's heaven.
@@KFLY67 definitely not junk. These people who are saying g stupid shit are not from the same school. Probably riding crotchrokets.. Dont take it to heart. You're doing the right thing
Where is he located
10,000$ IS ALOTT FOR A NAKED CAR.
I'm a mechanic that's still not worth what you paid for it ???
10 for if ? Holy fuck . That thing looked fucked
Where y’all be finding these junkyard cars & barnyard
Craiglist haha
Better off buying a beat up running car for that price in better shape . Those open cars are just rust everywhere
sure to some, but they are only a return future investment!
You definitely dont get it. This Camaro is a gem
Where is this junkyard at?
I can't advertise where as its someones personal collection and they wouldn't like that.
@@KFLY67 can you relay my info to him to get in touch with me about em? I'm more interested in the chevelle's sitting there.
Good question,I want to know too
If I was told ten K I would have said I don't have room for 20 cars.
Some bad car in their day. Asking a lot for half of a car tho. At least yours had its lids and a engine
I would be interested in a Camaro shell im in Washington also just sold a 69 tubbed car but want to find a 67 to restore
There was one identical to this 67 rs in the video posted on portland craiglist, it was a straight 6 car and same rustic patina, the listing price was $15k and it just sold.
fue months back here was a 67 rs/ss 350 car in seattle with its original motor and 4 speed trans butter nut yellow car in better shape than the one you bought and they were asking 9500 but as usual I had no money to buy it. there is a local guy that has 12 first gen cars he is thinking about selling he had a 67 for 3000. and it was in good shape but was a 6 cylinder car with no front clip on it. he has several 396 cars
that's crazy last year there was a 67 rs car and the guy had a 68 base Camaro he was asking 7500 for both cars and as usual I had no money lol
not worth half that unless it was a rs/ss350 or 396 car in my opinion I just found a 68 4 speed car that has already been media blasted and all body work done for 5500.
where in the hell did you find those?
Craiglist.
Never seen a RS with 6cyl engine?
Yeah it was a special order optioned car.
What about that ta next them bad ass
By. Any chance. Would. U. Have. A. 510 Datsun. SSS. Or a regular. Car. Fairly good body
I want the 68 how much. And where are they at
I have a 67, this car. No 68.
good luck to heck with negative comments
Where is this yard at?
Could you tell us in your upcoming videos where this junk yards located
If I could I would but, I was told by the owners they wanted to keep this place under the radar.
Did he say $10k for the third one?
Lima Bravo yeah total rip off
De cuantos cilindros es el carro
6 cilindros en línea
Pay someone to hold the camera.
How much did you pay for the car
He pay to much ten thousand for it
Wee this please at
sorry, Its some guys personal stash who don't want me to advertise.
Wow you paid for that rust.
