As does Zerk , raider , BP , Shugoki , Hitokiri . All A and S tier characters can fight new orochi with little issue . Also note from neutral the SR/kick mixup is entirely interruptible with a simple light from any character

at 2:54 why didnt you parry his dodge light? I am relearning Ara and am wondering if there was a reason for doing that or if it was just a flex
I also prefer fullblocking them, because if you parry it they most likely not going to throw another one anytime soon. But if you fullblock them or you throw a light after parrying it they will use it more often because you aren't punishing them heavily.
It's usually just preference/style, since not only did he full block guaranteeing less damage, he went for the heavy input which is even less damage, so could also just be seen as a flex. Better to parry for optimal choice in that scenario

as a Jorm player, i love when people spam dodge attacks because that's free parries, and parries mean a fuckload of stam damage

Am I just bad at the game or does anyone else think all block stance is a bit too strong. It seems like it works in so many situations and basically takes the place of parrying for many players. It can definitely be exploited with feint GB, bashes, or unblockables. But aramusha and that 1handed swordsman with the eyepatch both have like 0 recovery frames and can drop into it anytime basically. I'm coming back to the game after not playing since highlander release, so I have some catching up to do. But any char with an all block stance that gives free retaliation has been giving me alot of trouble. Even conq with his damn zone attack
Ever since Musha got reworked his recovery with blade blockade is insane, he can literally do it in the middle of an enemy's chain lights. I mained Musha way before he got buffed and now all my friends are playing him because he's so easy to cheese with now. Best way to play against all guard abusers is to not commit to your chain and feint your second attack and if they go for guard, gb them. That's the best I can give you, it's worked for me most times. As for conq zone, same thing but block/parry his zone, it always comes from your left
@@GradivusGFX He could always Blade Blockade mid light chain, that was it's main use. Before the versatility that the recovery cancels gave it you were mainly supposed to use it mid light chain to stop their offense and start yours.
