Wedding Bands 101: Your Complete Guide

- In this episode we break down and compare different wedding band setting techniques and styles. Choosing a wedding band can be as equally difficult as choosing your engagement ring; there are so many different styles to consider with different shape stones and various metal colors. Below are some of the basic wedding band settings we go over in this video:
- Pave Wedding Bands: features tiny diamonds across the band, which give the appearance of a solid diamond surface
- Close Basket Prong Set Wedding Band: when the bottom of the setting is fully encased in metal, with no air gaps shown. This is one of our most secure settings
- Airline Basket Wedding Band Setting: seen from the side view, the airline is the part of the band that lifts off the finger as it meets the diamonds
-U Shape Wedding Band: another popular band style, a U shape band setting looks exactly as it sounds - like the letter U under each diamond in the band.
- Bezel set (start with classic round bezel set ring): A bezel band, similar to a bezel style engagement ring, is when the band is completely encased in metal. This metal border not only protects the diamonds very efficiently, but also adds a design element to the band by highlighting the shape
-Channel/Bright Cut Set: A Channel Setting is a series of diamonds set in one or multiple rows within a channel.

I read that a lot of people are opting for a Moissanite as they are even more lovely than a Diamond and about 1/10 the price.
