I can’t believe there are no recommended doctors in Las Vegas on your website! Very telling what it’s like to get good health care in sin city. The only person I saw on the website is a NP in pahrump. I’m willing to drive an hour if she’s good, but how sad is it to find a good menopause specialist in this town? There’s three listed in NAM directory but their ratings aren’t good. 😏
I love that you list doctors based on word of mouth, that’s the best way to find a good doc. If you can recommend someone in LV, please let me know! Thank you for all the work you’re doing to help us mid-life women ❤

My doctor OBGYN was great! Except he didn’t give me the patch. I am in Spain. He gave me estradiol and progesterone ( Duofemme) in a pill form. Small tiny pill. Looks like the old school way they gave birth control.
Comes in a little circular container and dispenses the pills marking the days. One side brown one side white.
Despite that… it’s been a great joy to begin hrt. Her and L-threonate is amazing.

My skin has been breaking out and itching .. I have dark spots all over my body due to scratching the itching skin and then drying of skin bruises. Even after the skin bruise dries and become black there is itching on those wounds. I’m thinking the excess estrogen is trying to get out of my body. Hot flashes , no hunger, bloating even with small amount of food. I’m 51 had hysterectomy keeping my ovaries 6 years ago.

Iv decided to try HRT thanks to your advice and incredible wisdom on the topic, Im 46 and 2 years post menopause.
Im confused about the 3 day monthly (cyclical) break of progesterone, I thought that progesterone helped to keep the womb lining thin so is it safe for me not to have a break and not get the withdrawal bleed? Or do I need a break and have the bleed to assist with any womb lining build up?
My Doctor told me to have break from day 1-25 3 days off then start again day 1-25

Hi Dr Haver, LOVE your channel and informative videos. I am 3 years post-menopausal, with no serious symptoms except vaginal dryness and mood swings, started last November on the estradiol patch 0,375 with the progesterone 100mg pill vaginally. I did have some spotting for some days about one month since I started but stopped. Yesterday I experienced some blood and symptoms like when I was expecting my period, tender breasts, bloated tummy. Today as well. Can it be due to I changed the brand of the patch? Progesterone needs adjustment? Also, I did have an ultrasound last year, normal but I have a polyp, can that be the cause? I email my doctor as Im anxious but no reply yet ,🥰💗

So bio identical to me as I understand is a doctor firstly doing bloodwork to see what your hormone levels are estrogen, progesterone etc…
Only through each persons bloodwork can they prescribe the correct level of each hormone to each individual person.
Is this prescription pill say from Walgreens individual specific?
Or is one pill prescribed to all women regardless of their actual needs hormonally ?
