Doctors didn't think babies could feel pain until the '80s, or at least it wouldn't matter because they wouldn't really remember it anyway. I think anytime they are literally tearing chunks out of your cervix you need a little more than an ibuprofen. If they would give a man painkillers for the same procedure on their genitals then they need to give the same for women.

Omg yes!!!! I entered perimenopause last October and it’s been nothing but anxiety, panic attacks, irritability, mood swings, crying outbursts, heart palpitations are the worst, crawling skin feeling, tingly arms and hands, brain fog, fatigue, constant worry and fear , and the feeling of going crazy! It’s terrifying! I don’t want on antidepressants. I take magnesium and other vitamins to cope but to think how long this can last is frightening. I’ll be 41 soon btw. Thank you for your videos! Your been a huge part of my perimenopause journey! ❤️

I have ABSOLUTELY not been feeling like myself. Tasks that I used to enjoy are filled with so much anxiety. Driving is so hard for me now because I get so anxious. The night sweats are horrible and my work day is filled with fatigue and brain fog.

Since I first heard you say this, I went off alcohol during the week entirely. Drank sleepy tea instead. Still doesn't work for me. I still don't drink during the week, simply because it's better for me and my blood sugar, but it really hasn't helped improve my sleep. I'm 60 and am approaching the end of menopause (I HOPE SOON) but still wake with night sweats and racing thoughts. I'm SO ready for this to be over, but wonder if it really will ever be over?

Praise Jesus! Finally! People are recognizing this. I’m 57 years old and have been feeling like this and struggling with a myriad of these symptoms! It wasn’t until I found this platform that I realized what was going on. I’m now on HRT and feeling so much better. Note: I have always watched what I ate, exercised and did all the things to maintain a healthy lifestyle and still experienced all of these symptoms (and more). Ladies, the struggle has been real. But I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Haver and her research!

I’m 40 I actually just got on hormone treatment for the very first time for PMDD. I didn’t bother bringing it up anytime sooner in my life because I thought all they would give me as an anti-depressant and I already went down that road in my 20s and all the meds they gave me almost destroyed my life. I’ve been on disability since I was 21 for my mental health. I just took the progesterone for two weeks last month and I cannot believe what a difference it made. If every month goes like this last month does I might not need my disability. All of this time struggling. I can’t believe I didn’t find a provider I felt like I could trust enough to ask sooner but I’m grateful I have the progesterone now.

But when I put all my shit together and went to my doc, I was suddenly too young to be experiencing it. Like hello, tell it to my body it´s too young to put me through that!

I started full blown perimenopause at the week of my 44th birthday with my first crazy feeling on anxiety I’ve never felt before I noticed it started in my head like I was going crazy this happened when I was on trips like on a cruise or in mountains out of no where it would hit me two months later my estrogen levels kept dropping closer together and didn’t know what it was until my dr confirmed it was perimenopause and gave me ssri nothing else. I couldn’t stand the feeling anymore at work or anywhere I went therefore I did research and went to my gyno and started me with estradiol birth control after a couple months I started feeling a little bit better and heard experts like Dr haver and more and he started me then on HRT and been on it for a month and half although I’m getting break through bleeding it says Clamira is part of the side effect.. waiting to feel even better in a few weeks on the lowest dose. 🙏

ABSOLUTELY BARBARIC!! It’s ENRAGING that they let women suffer through procedures like this. I asked for Pain meds for the 2nd endometrial biopsy I had for infertility diagonsis after suffering thru my first biopsy, being told to take ibuprofen which did nothing to help the severe pain! They said it is not protocol to provide any type of pain relief medication. Such BULLSHIT!! Absolutely Barbaric.. no woman should ever have to suffer thru these procedures albeit awake to feel everything.

The medical profession is no longer one that we can count on for help or trust. I don't even go anymore since I don't get any help. I only go if I absolutely have to.

I had a biopsy and was told it will feel a little stonger than a pap smear. I was given nothing before - told nothing before - given nothing Rx to take home with me. Wasn't told best to have someone to drive you to & from. I almost crashed my car on the way home. Mascara runnign down my face - shaking and that night almos twent to ER the pain was so bad. Then I've read other women Doctors give them numbing cream to put up there an hour before, sedative to take an hour before and and Rx for hight strength Ibuprofen to take home. I was also bleeding already before the horrific procedure which is why I was having it AND was bleeding like a stuck pig for days afterward. So I did get a Dx of endo cancer stage 1 - well then I was flipping out thinking they stirred the pot and the cancer was everywhere. DEFINITELY ASK FOR PROPER PAIN CONTROL! Seeing this triggered me and it's been 4 years damn it! I can feel her pain!
