Q:What camera do you use?
A: I use the Go Pro Hero 7 Black Edition primarily. Often times you will see auxillary cameras in use. Those cameras include The Go Pro Hero 6, Hero, and DJI Mavic Pro Platinum
Q: How big Is your rotator?
A: It is a 50 ton Miller Industries Vulcan 950
Q: Does the carriage slide back like Ron Pratt's?
A: No, the carriage doesn't slide back due to strict weight laws in California. The sliding carriage will make the truck to heavy in CA
Q: Why do you only have 3 winches on the rotator?
A: Comes down to weight again as stated above
Q: How many trucks Does Plaza Towing have?
A: Currently more than 30
Q: Why must the driveshaft be removed to tow a vehicle?
A: When vehicles are not running the transmission is not receiving circulating lubricant. If the driveshaft is left installed, the transmission, which is not receiving lubricant, is still spinning. This allows it to get very hot which eventually will cause major damage to the transmission. Therefore, removing the driveshaft completely eliminates the transmission from spinning. Simply leaving it in neutral is not sufficient since the transmission still spins in neutral. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
And trent jr finds the semi that knocked the container off
But why was it not chained down pulling into furl pumps
Hmm ready to go then the customer decides to get something out of the cab....awesome video 🤘
Maybe just maybe, the customer thought they were just lifting up his rear for fun and they were gonna drop it. He had no idea they were actually gonna go anywhere.
better than while underway.
Great job Trent. A few asked what the first set of chains were for. I explained that you have to chain the front axle prior to lifting the truck because it has an air ride system. Not chaining it up could and most likely would cause severe damage to the air bags.
I was wondering why he chained up the 1st axl. Thanks for the info for this wondering mind
(4:40) - This is all very interesting.
It is just pointed out to our Goodfellah Trucker Trent, by his old man, that there is some *_SideSwipe Damage_*
to the tractor unit there, that he be in the process of recovering, darn tootin'.
*_GO DAD !!!_*
Notice the subtle change in attitude that Trent displays towards the hapless, ...er, ...er... *_...client?_*
*_LOVE IT !!!_*

Damn, the salt on those Canadian roads must be brutal. That is a relative late model tractor and already the frame is pock marked by rust.
That is normal.
The salt we spread out up north is like a cancer once you drive a car in it it starts doesn't matter if you try and wash it either just slows it down
Not just Canada in upstate NY our roads are covered in salt which just destroys the underside of cars. I had to retire my first car after the frame rusted so bad it became unsafe.
I was thinking the same.. its fairly new and its trashed
That's what I was thinking. Didn't this truck model debut for 2017 or 2018? Frame is already surface-rusted.
Good job Trent. Yep summer`s here
It amazes me how many nationalities and languages you come in contact with
Good video again man when I started watching your videos a while back you Sure have come along way I sure people are saying you get everything handed to you because your dad owns the company but I know that’s not true you work real hard what you do you’re a good wrecker worker real good on the rotator wrecker keep up the good work my friend I really enjoy your videos be safe watch your back in traffic I just wished the people would move over what is so hard about turning the wheel getting into the other lane that’s how I feel have a good day or night
Smart document any damage before starting work Sure seen it all
Awesome video Trent !!!
Be careful of the hot asphalt you can get a serious burn
Yay ! ! - it's summertime and Trent has more time to do videos
Dad got the easy job ;-) towing the trailer... But you got her chained down good an great vid!
Another great video Trent Jr. Hi from a wet England.
Awesome video Trent
At least you didn't have to do this out along the highway.
British Columbia Canada, a long way home!
Trend is the myth the man the legend. Nobody does Electronics.
Man am watch you from iraq Baghdad god bless you
Another good job which is usual nice video, pull toy here.
Great video, interesting to watch, cheers
Good to see the 35 ton
I didn't realize that Trent's regular 35 ton has provisions for the safety chains built in to the back like the one Darl normally drives. I'm surprised he doesn't just have chains built in so he wouldn't have to retrieve them from the compartment.
Thank you for Sharing be safe out there
Funny. I first heard Montana.
J W me too
Good job Tent
have you ever did the single side front axle tie up instead of running long chain from one side to the other
its what i do and most of our fleet does, and its what was showed in wreckmasters, please let me know
That's a long drive to Fontana from there!
(1:16) - Such a beautiful truck and...
...and then those springs ???
...all rusty and stuff ??
Surely, they make stainless steel springs these days ?
It's like spoiling the ship for a ha'porth of tar
On a more upbeat note:
*_I love you guys. Keep up the great work and don't ever stop those vids._*
*_THANKS._*

Towing a new freightliner cascadia
Trent, do you always double tie the steering wheel? Seat belt and ratchet strap? Great video!
lol is this the guy that knocked the container off
why do you have to chain the axle for towing a tractor from the back?
Hey look into the big J hook axle chains they make it even easier and faster to rear tow Best tool out of Florida sells them 90.00 a pair bestroolsusa
What the life expectancy for the chains on the tow rigs? (6 months to a year)
Great video. Have been watching your videos for a while. To answer people's questions about the first chain. It was to tie up the axle from stretching the air bags. My question for trent was about rear towing the tractor with the fairings. Did you end up going at a slower speed because of them?
What is the difference between the red and blue hook changes?
Why do you tie the front axel I personally stop to do it at least 20 year ago
Why wasn't there no cross country trip with that one or is there a video somewhere up on it ? 👍
His plate was from British Columbia... he's a long ways from home
Dropping them chainssounfs likens slot machine...
Oh stop complaining the asphalt is only hot enough to fry an egg on go to the mountain side and cool off
😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Is that the truck you used to drive most often? Does it miss you?
How is shool going? Doing well?
👍🏾👍🏾
Love the video's
HI!
I thought it sucked too short my care companion that you be Towing
minty
👍😀😎👌
Hey what's up!?
So what was that first set chains for?
If the truck has an air ride system you must chain the front axle prior to lifting the truck up. This will hold the axle up while you lift on the other axle. If you don't chain it up you could cause severe damage to the air bags actually allowing the axle to fall while your towing the truck. Most all semi tractors have air systems now. Again I hope Trent don't mind me awnsering this question or maybe he can explain it better.
Drive axles run air ride system. So its on airbags. when you lift the rear end up, the axles basicallly fall out in a way and can cause a lot of damage
The drive axles are designed to support a great amount of weight, but are not designed to "dangle" if the frame is suspended by the tow, the entire heavy assembly would flop around and damage itself. The rear axle is "clamped" by the underlift rigging but the forward drive axle needs to be clamped up too.
Is the towing company own by your family
Hi
Hii
What was that first chain even for?
To secure the front axle up so the airbags don't hang down
You have to chain the front axle so it don't hang down and damage the air bags. He's picking up on the rear axle so that axle is taking all the weight. If you don't chain it prior to lifting the truck up the axle could rip free from the air bags and fall to the ground. Hope Trent don't mind me answering your question.
Keeps the suspension compressed when he lifted that back , no?
Trumpasaurus Rex the first chain is used to support the airbags on the front drive axle
So the axle won't be hanging by the air bags.they dont last long with all the weight and bouncing around
Is it safe to pick a truck by you joints
pehchan mannan yes that’s what those forks/cups are made for. Only rear tows though.
6:01 do you hate people watching you😅😆
Is that your new Rotator you rnew truck
The rotator is way bigger
No it is Not the New Rotator Truck
what about dive line or air
Neither need attention since the drive wheels aren't turning and there is no need for brakes with such a light load, the wrecker brakes can handle it entirely.
I suspect drive line not needed as driven wheels aren’t in contact with the ground
I suspect no air for the same reason
No air needed or driveline to deal with on a rear tow
Rear tow!
I would guess not enough weight to need air brakes, and drive line doesn't matter as the driven axles are off the ground so nothing would be rotating in the driveline
