      @@kayenat10 correction!!!
no one can do anything impossible
The fact that a human did it means that it’s possible. So Ronaldo and Messi’s legacy can be achieved with a good enough dedication. Also ppl that normally say, “It’s was never a debate” only said that because of recent times and the World Cup of course.
But I’ll say that it was actually a debate, at least at that time. If you watched them earlier in their career you would know. Ronaldo made a massive comeback from 1:4 ballon d’ors to 5:5 ballon d’ors. To the point where he almost surpassed Messi if not Modric in 2018.
That’s why when I hear ppl saying that it was never a debate I just know that they started watching football recently😂.
The truth is that Messi won at the end but as for the debate, it was a very valid debate.
Ronaldo really put up a good fight and proved himself a worthy opponent and he’ll always have my respect for that.
But I’ll end this by saying, “There’s honor in everything, even in defeat”.
I hope you didn’t misunderstand my harmless opinion tho.

Looking back at the career of Messi and everything he has shown and done on the pitch, what he has produced in output and won on top of all that, there is no shame in Ronaldo coming 2nd to such an alien.
Cr7 however has shown and set a blueprint to all aspiring footballers that may not be gifted as much in ability as their peers that among magicians in the game you can still through sheer hard work, dedication and winning mentality, take yourself into the conversation amongst the greatest. He will always be admired as the best role model and a personal goat for those reasons for many people…
Of course Ronaldo also had the talent and Messi had the mentality, but what clearly stood out and is most known about the two is Messi’s outstanding ability which is down to his natural football genius and Ronaldo’s clutch performances be it finals or other big games… which is down to his outstanding mentality, drive and determination of winning whilst having an extreme bitter hate to lose…

You cannot measure what Messi does on a football pitch by mere statistics. He is simply MORE than just stats. With that being said, his stats ain't that bad are they? 😂 An absolute alien that little magician from Argentina.

You forgot Nadal in the tennis GOAT debate. It's between Djokovic and Nadal. Federer is 2 and 4 slams behind the two respectively.

Federer is better than Nadal on every surface except clay. Nadal is an extreme clay specialist and because he's all around worse than Federer he should not be considered better even if he has fewer grand slams. Djokovic is the undisputed GOAT though, even though I like Federer more

There's no debate anymore, It's not 2010 when this was a valid question of:
"I wonder who'd end up being better when everything is done and said?"
We already got an answer and it's clearly Messi.
That's why I really think you can very accurately predict if someone has ball knowledge or not based on who they think is better between the two. Not who they like the most, but who they think is a better footballer. There's not a problem liking Ronaldo more than Messi, but saying he is better than Messi is simply and objectively wrong.
I mean you can go and check yourselves the stats showed in this video more indepth, and you'll literally see Messi being on top for everything excepting
    Aerial duels
    Headers
    Penalty conversion rate
I also want to mention that a certain part of both their fanbases are equally stupid.
