Hia!! I need help, please. On my TV I get the message "Embedded Net DVR" and then the screen change giving the message "No signal through PC". I have no idea what to do since the DVR remote does not work as well as DVR mouse. I did change the VGA cable and turned the off everything by unplugging and connecting them back but still didn't work.
question.. what is the limit bandwidth of hikvision DVR?? on my settings it shows number 2 ..can I increase the number or this number is the one required?? thanks
I find it funny how the camera isn't exactly focused on the damn monitor but on her. I guess being able to see her is the top priority, to hell with the blurry monitor.
As long as the cameras you are installing are IP cameras you just need to connected the camera to your local network and use a browser to connect to the camera with its IP address which you can get by downloading the SADP tool from Hikvision..
Where do I add/setup my email address so I can receive the notification? I have selected the email tick box, however cannot find anywhere to actually add my email address. Thanks :)
Setting it up through the NVR actually sets it up in the camera. If you aren't using an NVR then you can log into the camera's web interface and configure it there in the smart events.
When I'm connecting the phone to dvr my hikvision DVR telling this this DVR is online and has been added by other user. so how to solve this problem plz reply

My NVR seems able to grab a face shot even with ONVIF non Hikvision cameras. The one Hikvision camera I have with the face detection hasnt.

I think both, you can only activate vca functions if the camera also supports them.
