Got this specifically for work and weekend trips. Looks to be an excellent size for airplane travel. just got it and loaded it up today. Can't wait to see how it holds up!
Excellent review. This is a great pack. Have had mine for well over a year. I went from the original 5.11 COVRT 18 to this and am very pleased. It is my EVERYTHING pack. 🙂
Nice video. I also have this bag. Just an FYI, if it’s raining and the bag is not protected you will get water in the bag through the zippers. Nothing real bad but, my admin pocket did get a little wet.
Great review. I've had this bag for over a year now and I like it, but don't love it. My two biggest problems with it are: 1. it is just centimeters too narrow to put in standard sized body armor. It's like someone told the designers to make it just close enough to let it be forced in, but ultimately not really work. So now people with this bag can't use any of their already owned body armor that is rated ballistically higher than the expensive handgun rated proprietary armor. Someone should get kicked in the nuts for that! 2. The bag is heavy as heck, or at least it seems to be heavier than my other bags with the same thing in it.
As much I like my Vertx Transit Sling 2.0, as much I dislike this Vertx Ready pack. Transit Sling 2.0 is wisely designed and very ergonomic and tactical. It is perfect solution for off-body EDC: It’s relatively compact, slick and insures REAL quick draw. Moreover, with two IIIA ballistic plates it covers all my torso, when fully unzipped. Vertx Ready lacks all these features. Absolute and horrible failure! I am returning mine.
Quality materials BUT!....It's hard to reach your items, straps are not comfortable, laptop not very secure, you have to pay extra for individual storage....Returned it!

They’re definitely overpriced. I had to send mine back for the stitching coming apart.
