I'm so glad I saw this video. A lot of people who have been cutting hair for years forget how hard it can be for a beginner. All the quick hand movements, and guard changing can b intimidatingly for someone new. You weren't trying to impress anyone with your fancy clippers, and quick hand movements. I always say show me and I might forget, But teach me and I will remember... Thanks posting this video.

For those confused about the "0" guard, the number 0 is the 1/2 guard for Wahl Clippers (aka .5 or 1/16 guard).

After the zero gap trim on the first guild line and i move on to blend that in with my wahl clippers - do they NEED to be zero gapped too so when i use the lever i can blend better? Or will they be short enough as they are out of the box to do it and can get away with that

@@badtama07 I’m not saying I cut as good as a professional barber but I learned from scratch and learned from my mistakes and got better with time. Now I cut my own hair every week and save money and time by doing it on my own. In fact, a few friends have hit me up to cut their hair.
Bruh, I have been a garage barbers for years and now currently studying for my license and I have to say your technique is spot on. My fades were on lint before but not they really stand out. Keep the tutorials coming. Mad love to you bruh.
Ive watched several how to fade vids and this one by far is the best imo. Way to take your time and explain things while demonstrating the wrist flick and technique. Im having my wife watch this at least 3 or 4 times and then getting my first "lock down" cut and fade!

The simplest and best tutorial I've seen
I'm a single mother of a 7 year boy, and I'm trying to learn how to cut his hair. He has asthma and bronchitis so I'm not taking him into any barbershops. Trying to watch as many videos I can, to try and learn how to cut his hair. This video is definitely a lot easier to understand than others I've watched. Some of the terminology still confuses me though🤦🏾♀️. The clippers I ordered just came today😊. I'm excited and nervous at the same time about getting started.

This cut is so hard to do because the fade is so high to start...you really only have one chance to get the fade right.
I tried it and i had to go bald..as i get better in guideline fading ect..im moving my first guideline higher..and higher so my cuts can be done in a timely manner..great video!!!!

I have 2 mixed boys 1 who has my mixed curly hair and 1 who has their dads black curly hair (thicker and more afro/wavey), we're also expecting a 3rd boy end of april so ive been spending the last year practicing on the boys hair. Slowly but surely I'm getting better- i do find fading the mixed hair slightly more difficult than the afro curly hair but practice makes perfect so 🤷🏾♀️🤭 Atleast I have no shame sending them to school everyones been impressed so far, just need to work on the shape up more but I usually leave that to the other half lol
