Pretty awesome aircraft! Its operating i my country as well for many years and I had the opportunity to fly on this plane on two occasions. Absolutely comfortable.
I still prefer the Twin Otter, but agree - nice airplane too!

Why does they give Fullpower while landing? I mean they just need to keep maybe 80knots oder 100? it look rlly fast but still a good landing amazing

How I would love to fly this bird myself! (I currently pilot a (Raytheon Beechcraft King Air) B-350 With two P&W PT6-60A engines rated at 1050 shp).

why do they add so much throttle right before landing?
I visited this strip in 1977 with a work crew to carry out repairs after it was put out of action by a cyclone. We left it in better condition than it is now.

Why did he throttle up to what sounded like max power when coming in for landing.....? And why do props have three set of levers....?
This is not abnormal, checking and 'exercising' the constant speed propeller for normal and feathering operation for example, but there were a couple of strange practices that would surprise a few pilots, read comments. Not sure if there are some special reasons for them or not so normal practices!
