    In this painting I am doing a really fun textured piece of wall art! This is so easy, anyone can do this at home for their own piece of wall art! I used spackle and a texture tool to create various shapes across the stretched canvas, and then used acrylic paints in various shades of peach and pink to finish off this piece with some gorgeous color!

    Did you water the paint down or just use straight acrylic paint? The way it comes out looks awesome!

    Love this! Did you put a sealant on it once dry or just painted directly?

    • @amandasstudio
      @amandasstudio  Před rokem +2

      I did not seal it with anything, just painted it directly.

      Does the spackle stay firm when dry? Or will it crack?

  • @lucyaliaturull8071
    @lucyaliaturull8071 Před rokem

    Will it crack without sealant? and does this spackle shrink when it dries?

    • @amandasstudio
      @amandasstudio  Před rokem +2

      Spackle did not shrink at all, I don't know if a sealant would affect whether or not it cracks; I think if the layer is just too thick it may crack either way.

    • @amandasstudio
      @amandasstudio  Před rokem +2

      It doesn't need to be super thick, maybe 1/8th to 1/4 inch.

      I wait a day for the paste to dry. I use acrylic paints and this is just a regular canvas that you can get at any craft store.

  • @jelly4074

    Is it the same thing as putty ? Wood filler? Asian here, I don’t know how to find spackle because of different terms in different languages.
    It’s so beautiful. I wanna create the same one.
