This is a nice video and I now understand why a simple jab to the body works so well for me against southpaws. I am an extremy tall orthodox light heavyweight. Similar height as Joshua if not the same. Of course I am aware about the check right hook coming as a response to the jab, but usually southpaws miss the right hook and I step back as the hook is a short punch and then I counter with the straight right to the solar plexus. Normally this does not work, but only works due to my reach and height advanatage, which puts me in an ideal position to throw the jab to the southpaw liver, without being too close to get countered with the right hook.

Slipping orthodox's jabb: Left elbow into your side and throw to the liver, using hip rotation!
Jabb: Hip forward with the jabb and backwards with the return of the jabb.

This is the most unusual liver shot I have ever seen. I got teached that a propper liver shot is a 2/3 uppercut and 1/3 hook.
Watch Golovkin's liver shot he landed on Lemieux. Same shot but in orthodox. Great leverage in a shot like that.
