Surgical Guru, Thanks for making these videos, I am a surgical tech myself and it is nice seeing other people’s way of setting up from opening supplies to completion. Thanks again and please keep making videos like this.

Thank you for watching “Ben & Friday.” It’s my pleasure and I’d be happy to make a video regarding organ procurement. I don’t currently do them here at the facility I’m working at but I’ll definitely put it on my list of videos to complete in the near future!

The Ref. Number for the X Wide Mayo Covers is 8339 on Cardinal Health if that's what your hospital uses. Hope this helps!

homie, i don't know how you get the confidence. I'd be so insecure about filming me opening. I'd be so afraid of people talkin shit. Maybe it's just me. Not everyone is as cool as me about things. Whatever, yo, I just did a Zimmer Zimmy Zims cuz! And you know thisss, MaN! And I'm out, nice video.

The confidence comes with experience. Trying failing and learning. It’s the same process with anything you do in life. I truly appreciate the love and acknowledgment, but seriously bro from my perspective it doesn’t even feel special just the natural order of things. It’s like a baby to walk or learning how to use his hands to eat after you practice so many times it’s natural. Nothing different about me or anybody else I just trained! I’m truly proud of you bro! Keep going! That’s ironic and dope you did Zimmer! Keep up the good work, my brother!

Around 12:50, was the nurse being serious and passive aggressive about you picking up the trays to go and see the patient? She needs to have accountability too cause if she was really in a rush there were plenty of other surfaces where they could have opened more of the vendor sets to further expedite things on their end and not come at you. Great job with always just brushing it aside cause it’s not that deep and after working with different types of nurses for years as a traveler I’d imagine you’ve come to see it all . - Navy CST

I can’t even completely understand what she said to me but you said it perfectly brother. Most of the times it’s friendly banter but even if it was serious I understand the pressure comes from anesthesia, doctors, and ultimately upper management to expedite the set up process and get things done as quickly as possible so we can do as many cases as we can throughout the day.
We’re human and everyday won’t be perfect but in attempts to maintain my peace of mind I don’t take anything personally and approach work with an understanding perspective as opposed to feeling personally attacked.
Also you put it perfectly bro when you deal with harsher personalities throughout your traveling it makes it much easier to deal with people in general.
I truly appreciate your comment and service in the field my friend! God bless you forever on this journey of life.

As of now I enjoy eating healthy, spending time with my family, exercising, studying the Bible, creating educational content. I enjoy making music as well and I miss making it consistently. I’m gonna be getting back to that in 2025.

Cool man I’m gonna be starting the surgical tech program next month. I’m a little bit nervous becuz I don’t wanna fail. And I also wanna be at least average so I can make some good money. I hear the field is stressful and that surgeons can be mean.
