[!NOTE!] Do NOT grab the dinput8.dll from scripthook's files, you only want to grab ScriptHookrdr2.dll. If you copy the dinput8.dll it will conflict with version.dll from LST (Lenny's Simple Trainer) The Version.dll is responsible for loading in the multiplayer assets into your offline world.
If the mod is crashing your game, validate your files through steam, if the game still crashes try to drop gpu overclock and run the game API as Vulkan. Also make sure the files you've downloaded are the most CURRENT version.

i just put the rampage mod on my rdr everything seems to work except the online weapons when i press enter it doesnt do anything also i cant see the navy revolver on the gunsmith and red dead online clothes on the tailor. The rampage trainer i use is the rampage NUI

At 1:34 you state "Inside of your lml folder should be a stream and replace sub folder." When I download Lenny's Mod Manager and extract it, my lml folder is empty. Where do I get the stream and replace folders at? Also I'm assuming all the other files you have in your lml folder at 3:08 are from other mods I don't need. (companion system, gun metal rework, npc weapons overhaul, mods.xml, and patterns.dat
I can't get Red Dead Offline to work and I'm assuming it's now because of this. Not sure why my lml folder is empty. I already have scripthook installed as well as rampage and that works fine...
I believe you have to run the game first to get the folders?

@@panejowars5944 the subfolders are case sensitive, as long as you have the folder structure correct and have the asset loader (version.dll) in your game root folder, all should be working fine

thank you for the tutorial, i have a little bit of a problem. everytime i load up rdr2 on steam, it crashes whilst still in the ‘connecting to rockstar games’ screen. What do I do?
Probably the Version.dll, just get the other version.dll from the mod called RDR2 Asi Loader. I'm not sure if the mod will even work with this one but it's worth a shot considering it allows the game to load up.
@@Griffen329 these are the same files but yes it's worth downloading it and replacing it. You may have another mod that is outdated and no longer working too. I quit playing shortly after making this video and when I came back a few of my mods were no longer functional, but I also have a long list of mods

Hey, I found a solution for this. Don't use the version.dll used on video. Download rdr2 ASI Loader (www.rdr2mods.com/downloads/rdr2/tools/9-rdr-2-asi-loader/) and drop on RDR2 root folder. Have fun :)

Hello, for some reason when I remove dinput8 none of the mods work, one thing I've noticed is that once I put it back everything except the offline mod works and the navy revolver appears locked in the guns store.
You need to have version.dll in place of dinput

got the weapons to show in catalogue but they are locked with red lock symbol and cannot be bought, and soon as i put version.dll and start the game it crashes every single time on loading screen, i remove it (version.dll), And game launches normally/loads and shows weapons in catalogue but cannot buy them..... Rampage works just fine only online weapons cannot be bought.
There had to be an update on rockstars side broke things at some point. I've been off rdr2 for a bit now but, keep checking the Lenny's simple trainer link for a new update would be my best suggestion.

i did all the steps and at first it didnt work, however i finally got it to work but some odd things happen. Mainly that every single male ped suddenly gets weapons out of thin air and start shooting me, even in saint denis. I disabled RDR offline, removed version dll but nothing has worked. I even disabled the mods that would affect peds but still nothing

Hi, I've just downloaded the mod just like you showed in the video, but the weapons don't pop in the book at gunsmith.
Are they showing up when you open the RDO weapon category inside rampage trainer?

@@TabsAnDabs After installing the trainer into the game those two weapons do show in the cathalog, but can I do this without the trainer?
@@sythesonny7884 I'm not sure I wasn't able to buy them straight away in chapter 3 in my playthrough but they were showing in the catalog; so I had to use the trainer to spawn them in. If you really don't want a trainer, install it anyways and just use it to spawn your weapons onto your person and save the game. Then you can exit to desktop and pull the the rampage files back out. Not 100% sure if they'll stay in the catalog though

I've done everything as said in the video, but as soon as i load in the game and tried to get the weapons in through my trainer it has done completly nothing. I went to the gunsmith and do they not show up. Do you know what is the problem?
You don't have the asi loader properly installed. Download this and drag it into your directory www.rdr2mods.com/downloads/rdr2/tools/9-rdr-2-asi-loader/

@E44o4 use the link in the description to download version.dll, place it straight into your rdr2 directory. Replace it if promted.
Version.dll is an asi loader, the same as dinput8.dll. However you only want version.dll. It is responsible for loading in multiplayer assets, only use dinput8.dll if you're not using multiplayer mods like red dead offline or online horse skins. The link will give you the same dll file that's packed into LST. Like I said in the video I don't recommend using lennys trainer itself because it absolutely tanked my performance

@@Demon_9878 Yep, you do NOT want both of them, theyre both asset loaders. Dinput8.dll is only for mods that don't require MP assets, red dead offline mod is mostly multiplayer assets. Having both .dll files is known to cause problems
So yes remove dinput8 and keep verison.dll

red dead offline and lennys simple trainer keep messing up my game, theyre pretty much broken and they have been for the past month or two.
Make sure your using the latest versions of lml. I just did a fresh install to start playing again and I have no issues

why is rdr2 offline mod not working for me. SO I have dinput, and version.dll latest version, rampage, simple trainer, and everything and red dead offline is not working still. No gun mods no catalog mods
Remove dinput8.dll from directory, it's an asset loader and so is version.dll. They conflict when they are both in the game directory. I made a mistake in the video by telling everyone to copy dinput8.
Also from Lenny's trainer, the only thing you wanted to snag from that download was version.dll not the trainer itself because that will conflict with rampage trainer

Yeah the Version.dll prety much makes the game stuck at loading when you start than it stops . Tje game never boots up.

Should still be working fine, even if they pushed a Rdr2 update. Copy the version.dll and repaste it into your game directory. If asked to replace hit yes, verify game files thru steam and try again

@@plejra should still be the same, you should be able to verify the game files thru the settings in rockstar launcher. Make sure you copy and paste the dll file from Lenny's trainer again and if everything is installed in the right place it should work

Try re-downloading the version.dll out of Lenny's trainer and place it in the corresponding folder. It sounds as if the asset itself isn't properly placed.

@@jppasol2726 it should spawn in without issue using rampage, go back into your directory and ensure you don't have both asi loaders at the same time. You only want version.dll as this is the file that loads in assets. dinput8.dll is packed in with rampage, but it won't load multiplayer assets

You could re-copy red dead offline back in and replace any files when prompted. I just re-added all of my old mods in on a clean install less than two weeks ago and all is working as intended

You might have missed a file, I downloaded rampage trainer last night and accidentally missed a file and I got that error and it was fixed after I put the other file in

heya dude, i got the mod working and im currently in valentine but i can only see the navy revolver? im looking for the elephant rifle
St Dennis is the only store that has the elephant rifle, you can always just spawn it in with rampage. You can even go as far as to deduct a few hundred $ from your character in rampage if you do spawn it.
Will this work after following the steps and not opening the mod each time?
Once it's in the game root you're good to go . Spawn whatever you'd like with the rampage trainer and you're off to the races. Just pop a quick quick save file under (not your main save file) once you've spawned whatever you like).
Ive noticed horses especially the online horses I have to open the trainer each time and respawn unfortunately.

Remove Nativetrainer.asi from the root folder. Scripthook comes bundled with it, rampage is a bit nicer in terms of QoL

Yea you're gonna need all of the files listed here, if not the assets will not load in.
An the stone hatchet is already in offline without mods, it should be available in rampage as a weapon spawn already If I'm not mistaken. If not you can easily find it near strawberry

My game won't even launch when I copy version.dll in the root folder. Is there any solution to this problem? First time trying out mods. I've already installed the necessary scripts. I am also using rampage trainer, but i can't spawn rdr offline stuff because i believe it's related to version.dll

They aren't compatible unless you hunt down the compatability patch because they both use the catalog game file. There should be a thread or two on reddit with the steps you have to follow

You're missing the asset loader. Copy version.dll into the directory, remove dinput8.dll if it's there
@@TabsAnDabs I 100% have the asset loader and followed your instructions to the decimal on a fresh vanilla RDR install and it doesn't work. I do not have dinput8.dll and I still cannot activate any of the weapons from RDO in the trainer menu.

I got a problem, its when i bought the repeater shotgun and tried to equip it it turned invisible and i cant use it, i also cant buy the navy revolver because the red lock is there and the elefant rifle just doesn't show up in the gunstores
Try re-downloading the version.dll out of Lenny's trainer and place it in the corresponding folder. It sounds as if the assetloader itself isn't properly placed. Also make sure you don't have both .dll files (dinput8.dll and version.dll) you only want version.dll as its responsible for loading MP assets. If you can't buy it because it is locked, spawn it through the rampage trainer

Using LST, I have everything installed correctly I think, but the gun does not show up in the valentine gunsmith, and when I try to spawn it in with the trainer, nothing happens. the navy revolver is listed, but doesn't spawn into my hand like every other gun. Any idea what I did wrong?
I'd go back and drop the version.dll in once more and hit yes if it asks you to replace the file, it's responsible for loading most of the assets.

Added LML using your tutorial a couple days ago and everything was working fine. Now, I'm getting this error message when trying to boot up the game with - "SCRIPT HOOK RDR 2 CRITICAL ERROR WOULD YOU LIKE TO CHECK DOWNLOAD PAGE NOW?" Then shows the supported versions (which is the latest script hook version out...)
Any fix for this?
You can go to the scripthook page and check if there's an update, but I was getting the same error every now and then. I'd just close out an reboot the game and it loaded up no problem
@@TabsAnDabs I'd been doing that and the same error was popping up. Went to the scripthook page and seen it's the same version I had downloaded as well. Even went out of the way to reinstall the game and put the files back in. Not sure what's going on. Guess I'll just have to keep trying.
@@TabsAnDabs Got any other suggestions? Still getting that pop up and won't let me boot the game. Your tutorial was the easiest and it worked initially but I cannot find anyone else with the same problem that has a solution. I've tried rebooting it 20x in a row at some point and still won't get this thing to work.
Side note: I don't play offline, just want to have fun in the story mode. But I will say that I've been getting this error since RS released an update for the game yesterday (which to my knowledge was for RDR Online only)

do you need winrar? I just use some shitty one of Microsoft store and it seems to work
You can use whatever extraction method you prefer, winrar and 7zip are two of the most common tools out there
When I go through the trainer to give myself the navy revolver nothing happens.
Go back and delete dinput8.dll out of the directory. Make sure version.dll is there and all of the others such as Lenny's mod loader are up to date. It should work I just started another playthrough and re-added this one and it's working fine

@@CBUCKN best of luck man, the most important parts to this is structuring the lml folders correctly and ensuring you have the proper asset loader (version.dll)
You should have the mod manager installed as well, and you can use that to download and install it properly.
I did a clean install on everything removed my RDR2 game folder and replaced it with a copy of my back up RDR2 game folder then followed your video word for word and it worked. Thank you for the help friend. Something I had must have been conflicting with the mods idk.
